Combined fingerprint reader/power button system

A fingerprint reader/power button system includes a base member defining base leg apertures extending into the base member. A spring member engages the base member to provide a spring force that is directed away from the base member. Spring legs on the spring member define respective spring leg apertures that are located adjacent respective base leg apertures. A support member engages the spring member and includes support legs that are configured to extend through the spring leg apertures and into the base leg apertures. A power actuator element connected to the support member is configured to engage a power actuator engagement element when an actuation force on the support member overcomes the spring force. A fingerprint reader connected to the support member is configured to read a fingerprint from a finger that engages a fingerprint reader surface on the fingerprint reader.

Keyboard device

A keyboard device includes a base plate, a plurality of key structures, a floating frame and a cover layer. The key structures are disposed over the base plate, and each of the key structures has a keycap. The floating frame is disposed over and separated from the base plate. The floating frame has a plurality of openings, and the key structures are disposed in the openings, respectively. The cover layer covers the keycaps of the key structures and the floating frame and is in direct or indirect contact with an upper surface of the keycap of each of the key structures and an upper surface of the floating frame. When the keycap of one of the key structures and the cover layer thereover are pressed to bottom, the floating frame surrounding the one of the key structures is pulled by the cover layer and shifted.

Waterproof key module

Disclosed is a waterproof key module, including: a housing with a hollow inner chamber and an opening at an end, comprising a front housing portion and a bottom housing portion secured to each other, and the opening being provided on the front housing portion; a touch component limited in the inner chamber, comprising a touch plate extending out from the opening; and a waterproof adhesive film in a pre-tensioned status and isolating the touch component from the bottom housing portion, an edge of the film being secured to a position where the front housing portion is connected to the bottom housing portion, and the touch component being supported on the film; wherein at least one pressure sensor module is provided between the touch component and the bottom housing portion and configured to generate a pressure signal that represents a pressure degree according to a pressing on the touch component.

An input device comprises an operation key arranged in an opening of a panel; and a light source and a push button switch each arranged in a position opposite to the opening on a board, wherein the operation key includes: a key top having a pressing part extending toward the push button switch, wherein the pressing part is arranged in a position separated from a center position in planar view of the key top on a line that is parallel to a line connecting connection parts of the key top, which are connected with one pair out of one or more pairs of arms, and passes through the center position, and wherein the push button switch is arranged in a position on the board opposite to an arrangement position of the pressing part,

Key structure

A key structure includes a casing, a covering member, a pressing element, a triggering post, a switch element. The casing has an opening. The opening is covered by the covering member. The pressing element is disposed within the opening and connected with the covering member. The pressing element includes a middle part and an extension part. The triggering post is installed on the middle part of the pressing element. The triggering post is extended in the direction toward the inner position of the casing. When an external force is applied to the middle part of the pressing element, the triggering post is moved toward the switch element to push the switch element. When the external force is applied to the extension part of the pressing element, the triggering post is correspondingly moved with the pressing element in an inclined manner to push the switch element.

Control device

A control device is provided. A membrane switch of the control device is specially designed. A cured ink member is formed on a surface the upper film layer facing the lower film layer or a surface of the lower film layer facing the upper film layer by using a UV printing process. Due to the ink member, a specified gap or distance between the upper film layer and the lower film layer can be maintained when they are not contacted with each other or when the membrane switch is not triggered.

A magnetic keycap assembly adapted for use on a mechanical keyboard. The magnetic keycap assembly includes a keycap removably attached to a keybase using a diverse combination of attachments including magnets, and a press-fit configuration for securely retaining the keycap to the keybase when subjected to actuation forces during use. The magnetic keycap assembly comprises a variety of different key profiles including a spacebar, and is customized with interchangeable keycaps to enhance the aesthetic appeal, and/or ergonomic use of mechanical keyboards.

Method for manufacturing an actuator switch

A method of making an actuator switch is disclosed. One method including: receiving a threshold amount of pressure on a top surface of a flexible film; in response to receiving the threshold amount of pressure, contacting a first electrode with a second electrode; in response to receiving the threshold amount of pressure, generating i) a first capacitive connection between a row electrode and the second electrode and ii) a second capacitive connection between a column electrode and the second electrode; in response to the first electrode contacting the second electrode, generating, by a piezoelectric actuator, haptic feedback; and in response to the generating the first capacitive connection and the second capacitive connection, providing an input detection signal.
