TIMELY COMPONENT MOVEMENT MEASURING SYSTEM
A timely component movement measuring system for a vehicle is disclosed. The system includes a component of a vehicle, the component having a range of motion. The system also includes a sensor to measure a movement of the component through some or all of the range of motion of the component.
Machine Learning Based Strength Training System and Apparatus Providing Technique Feedback
An exercise form analysis and feedback system (EFAF) including at least one sensor, at least one local movement data receiver, an analysis and feedback processing unit (AFPU) and a feedback display. The EFAF system of the present invention obtains lift movement data through the one or more sensors as lift movements are performed. This lift movement data may, in turn, be transmitted to one or more local movement data receivers such that the AFPU may operate on the lift movement data to provide real-time or near real-time form/technique feedback to the user via a feedback display. The system of the presentation invention uses machine learning techniques to provide feedback on lift quality aspects based on data associated with previous lifts and external data as applicable.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DYNAMICALLY GENERATING EXERCISE PLAYLIST
Systems and methods are described for generating for presentation to a user at least one modified segment corresponding to a physical exercise depicted during presentation of a media asset to a user. The media asset may comprise multiple segments and one or more exercises, where each respective exercise corresponds to one or more segments, and input may be received from one or more sensors during presentation of the media asset, where the input is related to the user. Based on the received input, a determination may be made that an alternate version of an exercise corresponding to at least one particular segment of the multiple segments should be provided instead of a version of the exercise scheduled to be provided. The at least one particular segment may be modified to correspond to the alternate version of the exercise, and the at least one modified particular segment may be generated for presentation.
SPEED GENERATION METHOD FOR SIMULATING RIDING
A speed generation method for simulating riding is provided. A computer device (20) retrieves a riding weight and road condition information, selects one of a plurality of preset gear ratios (30) as a selected gear ratio, retrieves a wheel rotating speed of a bicycle (4), and determines a simulated speed in a simulating riding service based on the selected gear ratio, a tire parameter, and the rotating speed.
Device for Displaying in Response to a Sensed Motion
A device includes a signaling means and a motion sensor, and logic for activating or controlling the signaling means in response to a sensed motion according to an embedded logic. The device may be used as a toy, and may be shaped like a play ball or as a handheld unit. It may be powered from a battery, either chargeable from an AC power source directly or contactless by using induction or by converting electrical energy from harvested kinetic energy. The embedded logic may activate or control the signaling means, predictably or randomly, in response to sensed acceleration magnitude or direction, such as sensing the crossing of a preset threshold or sensing the peak value. The visual means may be a numeric display for displaying a value associated with the count of the number of times the threshold has been exceeded or the peak magnitude of the acceleration sensed.
Differential air pressure exercise and therapeutic device
An exercise and therapeutic device includes a treadmill comprising a running belt coupled to a treadmill frame and an offloading system coupled to the treadmill. The offloading system includes an air chamber surrounding the running belt adapted to be selectively inflated between a deflated condition and an inflated, operating condition, a user seal coupled to the air chamber, adapted to receive a user so that, in an operating condition, at least a portion of a user is received in the user seal and positioned within the air chamber and to seal the air chamber around the user, a pump operable to inflate the air chamber, at least one strap coupled to the treadmill frame and adapted to restrict the expansion of the air chamber and adjust a spacing of the user seal relative to a running surface of the running belt when the air chamber is inflated.
DATA COLLECTING HEAD GUARD SYSTEMS AND METHODS THEREOF
A head guard is provided. The head guard includes one or more sensors as part of an sensory input and communications system. The head guard wirelessly communicates data to remote computing devices for intelligent data collection.
Article for improved grip and protection in athletics
Sleeves for improving performance and control are disclosed. The sleeves are constructed for use on the fingers, wherein each sleeve is constructed in some embodiments with grip zones that match areas of the finger to ensure improved grip while maintaining flexibility, compression, protection, and material durability. Each grip zone is positioned to ensure that fingers are able to naturally bend without impeding grip performance. A spine on a rear of the sleeve ensures material durability, limits over extension, and provides padding and protection.
Barbell spotting apparatus
Provided herein are embodiments of a barbell spotting apparatus having all the benefits of a free-floating, unconstrained barbell in both the horizontal and vertical axes with the safety of a dedicated spotting mechanism, while addressing safety, noise, and space concerns raised by typical barbell apparatus. The embodiments herein permit a loaded barbell to be positioned in line with the axis of motion of the lift to be performed at both the beginning and end of the lift.
EXERCISE MACHINE
An exercise machine may include a frame, a resistance mechanism supported by the frame, first and second pull cables supported by the frame and linked to the resistance mechanism, a power rack attached to the frame, first and second handles selectively attachable to the first and second pull cable, and first and second pulleys. The power rack includes upright posts configured to have barbell holders adjustably attached thereto such that the barbell holders are configured to be adjusted in various positions between highest positions and lowest positions on the upright posts. The pulleys are configured to selectively receive the pull cables to enable the pull cables to be selectively attached to a barbell to assist or hinder a user in lifting the barbell in a combined cableand free weight workout, the pull cables decoupled from the pulleys for cable workouts.
