Toe cap and method for producing a toe cap
The invention relates to a method for producing a toe cap (10) and such a toe cap itself. The toe cap comprises at least one end wall (12) extending in an arch shape and a cover wall (14) extending therefrom that covers the toes on the upper side, wherein the cover wall and the end wall have a base wall thickness G and areas separated from sections of the walls, such as webs in the walls, have a thickness D with 0D<W, wherein the difference between the volume of the toe cap with areas filled to the base wall thickness W and the volume of the toe cap with the areas of lesser thickness is 5% to 35%, and/or the difference between the area of the toe cap with filled areas and the outer surface of the toe cap without the areas is 20% to 60%.
SOLE STRUCTURE FOR AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
A sole structure for an article of footwear may include a unitary, one-piece sole component with a sole plate and a heel support. The sole plate may include a heel region, an inner side facing a foot-receiving side of the sole structure, and an outer side opposite from the inner side and facing a ground contact side of the sole structure. The heel support may include an inner side contiguous with the inner side of the sole plate and an outer side contiguous with the outer side of the sole plate. The heel support may extend around a rear of the heel region and away from the sole plate. The outer side of the heel support may have a convex profile from a medial side to a lateral side of the sole plate.
Adjustable insole for a footwear article
Various embodiments are directed to an adjustable insole for a footwear article. In various embodiments, the adjustable insole comprises an insole body comprising a heel bottom cavity defined by a cavity opening provided along an insole body bottom surface; and a removeable heel bottom insert configured to be disposed within the heel bottom cavity such that a first insert portion is disposed within the heel bottom cavity and a second insert portion defines a lowermost surface of the adjustable insole, the removeable heel bottom insert having a selectively adjustable configuration relative to the insole body that is defined by an arrangement of the removeable heel bottom insert within the heel bottom cavity in one of a nominal position and a rotated position defined relative to the nominal position by a rotation of the removeable heel bottom insert through an angle of rotation of at least approximately 90 degrees.

Orthopedic safety boot and attachments compliant with OSHA standards
An orthopedic safety attachment for boots comprises a rigid toe cap made of composite material, an attachment means on the interior surface for securing the toe cap to the boot, a flexible outsole with high grip strength properties detachably connected to the toe cap, and an upright portion extending upward to protect the lower leg and ankle. The attachment converts orthopedic boots into OSHA-compliant safety boots. The second embodiment is an orthopedic safety boot comprising a CAM boot with an integrated reinforced toe cap and flexible outsole, providing full compliance with OSHA safety standards. Both embodiments offer enhanced protection and support for individuals recovering from foot injuries, allowing them to safely return to industrial work environments such as warehouses.
