A footwear insert assembly including a pair of integrally formed full length footbeds adapted for insertion within an item of footwear and a heel insert adapted for insertion in the item of footwear beneath one of the full length footbeds of the pair of integrally formed full length footbeds such that the full length footbed and the heel insert cooperate with the footwear to raise a heel portion of the full length footbed. The pair of full length footbeds include a first contoured footbed having a contoured arch portion, the contoured arch portion of the first contoured footbed having a thickness providing a first degree of arch support, and a second contoured footbed comprising a second contoured footbed having a contoured arch portion, the contoured arch portion of the second contoured footbed having a thickness that is less than the thickness of the contoured arch portion of the first contoured footbed, the contoured arch portion of the second contoured footbed providing a second degree of arch support, wherein each of the first contoured footbed and the second contoured footbed is adapted for interchangeable insertion within an item of footwear to thereby produce a supportive feel when worn.

The present disclosure relates to a custom article of footwear, a method of making the same, and a method of conducting retail and Internet business. In particular, the components of the custom article of footwear can be selected from a range of alternative options, and the selected components can be easily removed, replaced, and recycled.

The present invention consist of a securely fitted sock/stocking/bootie permanently attached to an insole and fitted with strategically located “attachment” devices that when engaged with counterparts, located within the footwear, “lock” into place—providing a secure and stable assembly that prevents (and/or controls) the foot from slipping, sliding, rising, rotating or otherwise moving within, and relative too, the footwear. Disclosed herein is an insole or footbed for a shoe. The insole includes a forefoot portion having a first thickness at a latitudinal midpoint thereof, a midfoot portion attached to the forefoot portion, and a hindfoot portion attached to the midfoot portion. An energy plug is attached to the midfoot portion and hindfoot portion and covering lateral portions thereof. The hindfoot portion has a second thickness at a latitudinal midpoint thereof, the second thickness being less than a first thickness. The hindfoot portion includes a support stabilizer at an outside lateral portion thereof.

An insulating shoe insert including a core layer formed of a cellular material, and a top layer and a bottom layer bonded to opposing sides of the core layer, respectively, the top layer and the bottom layer being configured as thin sheets of aromatic polyamide material such that the top layer and bottom layer cooperate with the core layer to create a heat transfer resistance sufficient to resist transfer of heat through the core layer.

An insole includes: an insole main body adapted to be accommodated in a bottom of a shoe; a thong attached to a toe-side front part of the insole main body; and an instep-side support provided at an end of the thong opposite to the insole main body and extending in a front-rear direction from a toe side to a heel side with respect to the thong, wherein a relationship SL≤KL is satisfied, where SL is a length of the instep-side support from a center of its part contacting the thong to a toe-side end part, and KL is a length from the center of its part contacting the thong to a heel-side end.

A size-adjustable sport shoe includes a shoe head, a shoe insole, and an adjusting telescopic device including a gear, a shaft gear, first and second gear racks, and handle. The first and second gear racks are located at two lateral sides of an elongated adjustment groove at the shoe head, wherein the upper surface of the second gear rack is lower than the upper surface of the first gear rack. The gear shaft is coupled between the gear and the handle. When the handle is folded perpendicularly to an axis direction of the gear shaft, the gear meshes with the first gear rack to lock up the shoe head at the shoe insole. When the handle is folded to coincide with the axis direction of the gear shaft, the gear meshes with the second gear rack to allow the shoe head to be slid from the shoe insole.

A size-adjustable sport shoe includes a shoe head, a shoe insole, and an adjusting telescopic device including a gear, a shaft gear, first and second gear racks, and handle. The first and second gear racks are located at two lateral sides of an elongated adjustment groove at the shoe head, wherein the upper surface of the second gear rack is lower than the upper surface of the first gear rack.
