Wearable resistance training device
The described embodiments relate to systems, methods, and apparatuses for providing an adjustable amount of tension to various portions of a body of a user. The tension can be exhibited by cables that extend from the body mounted device. The cables can be routed through a pulley assembly located with cables guides of the body mounted device. A user can adjust the tension of the cables using knobs located at the ends of the cable guides. The cables can terminate at bands, which can be attached to appendages of the user during training. When the user is wearing the body mounted device, a mounting plate of the body mounted device can conform to the shoulders of the user, and a separate plate of the body mounted device can be depressed against a back side of the user.
Posture coaching system and method for weight training by motion pattern
Disclosed is a posture coaching method for weight training, which includes sensing an exercising motion of a user by a sensor module that is attached to a part of the body of the user or exercise equipment gripped by the user for exercising; calculating an inherent angle of the sensor module and a linear acceleration of each axis of a user-based coordinate system based on the user by using the sensed value; analyzing an exercising posture of the user by detecting and classifying a pattern of the linear acceleration and the inherent angle; and generating exercising posture correction data based on the classified pattern.
Dry swim simulation system
A dry swim simulation system is described. A portion of the system includes a platform extending vertically from the base platform and a first and a second retractable pulley. Another portion of the system includes a first support assembly comprising a first movable cradle configured to receive thighs of the user and a second support assembly. The second support assembly includes a second movable cradle configured to receive a torso of the user, a computing device, and a headrest comprising an opening configured to receive a face of the user such that the user views the computing device. The computing device is configured to receive parameters associated with the user during use of the dry swim simulation system from numerous electrical and/or mechanical components. The computing device is configured to analyze the parameters and provide real-time feedback to the user to improve performance of swimming strokes.
MOTION DATA MONITORING METHOD AND APPARATUS
The motion data monitoring method includes: collecting, by an electronic device, an angular velocity signal and an acceleration signal of a user; obtaining, by the electronic device, a waveform feature of the angular velocity signal based on the angular velocity signal, and obtaining a waveform feature of the acceleration signal based on the acceleration signal; determining, by the electronic device, a gait feature of the user according to the waveform feature of the angular velocity signal and the waveform feature of the acceleration signal, where the gait feature includes a duration of flight from off-ground of a foot of the user to touching of the ground; and determining, by the electronic device, motion data according to the gait feature, where the motion data includes a jump height.
Tennis racket sensor system and coaching device
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to devices, systems, and methods for implementing drills and providing coaching instructions to users. Embodiments may load a drill, measure values obtained from one or more sensors installed on a player's tennis racket and/or worn on the player's body, and use those values to detect various parameters, such as the physical impact of a ball at the player's racket. Embodiments may then output a coaching instruction to the user. Embodiments may also include adding customized coaching instructions to a drill.
Method and system for indicating a breathing pattern
A method and system for indicating a breathing pattern is disclosed. The system comprises a plurality of smart wearable devices, a plurality of mobile devices, an application server and a database. The plurality of smart wearable devices is either connected to the mobile devices or directly connected to the application server. The database is connected to the application server to store the data transmitted by the smart wearable device or the mobile device. The plurality of smart wearable devices is capable of monitoring the health index and identifying the variation in health conditions of the user, in real-time and activating a suitable breathing pattern to normalize such medical condition.
Athletic Performance Monitoring Systems and Methods in a Team Sports Environment
Systems and methods for sensing and monitoring various athletic performance metrics, e.g., during the course of a game, a practice, a training session, training drills, and the like, are described. These systems and methods can provide useful metrics for players and coaches relating to athletic performances in various sports, including various team sports.
Automatic coaching system and method for coaching user's exercise
An automatic coaching system and method for an exercise state of a user include: a metric calculating step of calculating at least one metric by using data collected by an acceleration sensor or a location sensor worn by the user; a new coaching target metric selecting step of calculating an error rate between the calculated metric and a prestored metric reference value, selecting a new coaching target metric based on the error rate, and outputting a coaching message related to the coaching target metric; a new metric improvement verifying step of verifying new metric improvement occurrence when the new coaching target metric is not selected and outputting an alarm when the new metric improvement occurs; and an exercise state outputting step of outputting an alarm for an exercise state when the metric improvement and the new coaching target metric are not present.
Postural awareness device
A postural awareness device designed to improve an individual's posture may include a vertical core designed to be positioned vertically along a user's back; a cervical cradle attached to an upper portion of the vertical core, the cervical cradle designed to be positioned in alignment with a user's cervical spine; a thoracic cradle attached to a central portion of the vertical core, the thoracic cradle designed to be positioned in alignment with a user's thoracic spine; and a lumbosacral cradle attached to a bottom portion of the vertical core, the lumbosacral cradle designed to be positioned in alignment with a user's lumbar spine.
