INPUT DEVICE

An input device includes: a rotating member that rotates about a predetermined rotation axis; and a mover that includes a protrusion protruding toward an inner peripheral surface of the rotating member and moves in a direction different from a rotation direction of the rotating member along with rotation of the rotating member. The protrusion protrudes toward an inner peripheral surface of the rotating member. The rotating member includes a first projection and a second projection that project from the inner peripheral surface toward the mover. The protrusion of the mover is inclined with respect to the predetermined rotation axis and disposed between the first projection and the second projection.

SWITCH MODULE FOR ELECTRONIC CROWN ASSEMBLY
20230077241 · 2023-03-09 ·

A switch module for an electronic device detects translational inputs and defines at least portion of a conductive path from an input surface of the electronic device to a processing unit of the electronic device. The switch module may be a component of a crown assembly for detecting rotational inputs, translational inputs, touch inputs and/or biological signals such as electrocardiogram (ECG) signals. The switch module may include a conductive dome and a friction guard that is positioned between the conductive dome and the actuation member of the crown assembly. The conductive dome and/or the friction guard may define at least a portion of the conductive path from the input surface to the processing unit.

Isolating switch with test point

An isolating switch for a circuit includes: a switching mechanism movable between an open position in which the circuit is open and a closed position in which the circuit is closed; and a housing. The housing includes: a first housing component coupled to and enclosing the switching mechanism; a second housing component coupled to the switching mechanism and movable with respect to the first housing component to move the switching mechanism between the open position and the closed position; at least one aperture arranged in one of the first or second housing components; and at least one test point electrically connected to the circuit and arranged in an other of the first or second housing components. The second housing component is movable with respect to the first housing component between at least: a first relative position in which the switching mechanism is in the closed position.

Retrofit remote control devices

A control device may be configured to control an amount of power delivered to one or more electrical loads and provide various feedback associated with the control device and/or the electrical loads. The control device may be a wall-mounted device or a battery-powered remote control device. The feedback may indicate the amount of power delivered to the one or more electrical loads. The feedback may also indicate a low battery condition. The control device may include a light bar and/or one or more indicator lights for providing the feedback.

A rotation operation device includes: a rotation shaft including a first end portion and a second end portion spaced apart from each other in an axial direction of the rotation shaft; a knob having conductivity, the knob being provided at the first end portion of the rotation shaft and being configured to rotate the rotation shaft; a touch sensor configured to detect a contact with the knob; and an elastic body having conductivity, the elastic body including a first end connected to the knob and a second end connected to the touch sensor. The knob includes a surface facing in the axial direction of the rotation shaft towards the second end portion of the rotation shaft, the surface of the knob includes a recess portion recessed in the axial direction, and the first end of the elastic body is disposed in the recess portion.

Rotor for multi-pole rotary electrical switches
11476064 · 2022-10-18 ·

A rotor system for a multi-pole rotary electrical switch having a rotor with a top and a bottom. Bus plate connectors are held in chambers on the bottom of the rotor. Retainers in the chambers, engaging only sides of the bus plate connectors, prevent the bus plate connectors from dropping out of the chambers when the bus plate connectors are placed above bus plates in a bus plate holder to place the switch in an “OFF” position. Support members extend from a side of the rotor to support the bus plate connectors above the bus plates. When the rotor is rotated to the “OFF” position the support members are rotated up onto support posts positioned in the bus plate holder. When the rotor is rotated to an “ON” position the support members are rotated off the support posts and the bus plate connectors are pressed down against the bus plates by a spring, thereby creating electrical connections between the bus plate connectors and the bus plates.
