Group exercise program utilizing free weight, machine fitness accessory and body movement exercise combination
The present invention is a group workout program that allows instructors to lead and teach multiple exercisers machine, free weight and other forms of exercise simultaneously. Participants within a single exercise area can do the same free weight, machine and accompanying exercises simultaneously. They can also circuit train in small, medium and large circuits doing the same or different exercises concurrently or simultaneously under the direction of an instructor. More than one exerciser can exercise on each machine at the same time and machines can be combined to deliver more exercises. An exerciser can do multiple exercises on a single machine either changing the configuration between exercises and also by leaving the configuration the same and simply moving between varying exercises. The workout program allows an instructor to teach exercises and exercise combinations in way where they can have a slow, medium, fast and mixed pace. The workout program method can be conducted simultaneously for participants of different fitness levels and experience and can be delivered for specific body parts or entire body workout programs.
Systems and methods for providing varying resistance in exercise equipment through loop drive mechanism
A system for providing resistance in an exercise machine. The system includes a motor, at least one loop drive attached to the motor. A carriage is coupled to the loop drive. The carriage moves in a first direction when the motor is turned in a first direction and a second direction when the motor is turned in a second direction. At least one sensor is attached to the carriage, wherein the at least one sensor is configured to detect external force on the carriage. Information from the sensor indicates external force on the carriage. The information is used to determine a movement of the carriage in response to the external force. The motor is instructed to turn the loop drive to apply the movement.
Exercise machine monitoring and instruction system
An exercise machine monitoring and instruction system for the movement of an element of an exercise machine by an exerciser and providing automated feedback to the exerciser to help improve the exercise in real-time. The exercise machine monitoring and instruction system generally includes an exercise machine having a movable element that moves between a first position and a second position in a reciprocating manner, a sensor that detects a real-time position of the movable element, a processor in communication with the sensor to receive the real-time position data from the sensor related to a position of the movable element and a feedback device in communication with the processor that provides real-time instructions to the exerciser on how to adjust their workout to achieve a desired result.
Immersible, adjustable, surface compliant device and methods of use
The present invention relates to an immersible, adjustable, surface compliant device and methods of using it an environment with variable, induced current flows for purposes of exercise, rehabilitation, or pure fun. The adjustable, immersible, surface compliant device can be used in pools, water tanks, or any body of water having a location where the device could be attached. The adjustable, immersible, surface compliant device and methods of using it are ideal for rehabilitating an injury, assisting aging bodies in performing exercises, and allowing the permanently injured to achieve movement and some degrees of physical autonomy despite being injured. In some embodiments, I disclose a trampoline-like device, having adjustable surface compliance, to be used in a pool or water tank having a current flow, wherein the angle of the trampoline is horizontally adjustable.
EXERCISE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method for displaying archived exercise classes comprising displaying information about archived exercise classes that can be accessed by a first user via a computer network on a display screen at a first location, wherein the first user can select among a plurality of archived classes, outputting digital video and audio content comprising the selected archived class, detecting a performance parameter for the first user at a particular point in the selected class, displaying the performance parameter on the display screen, and displaying performance parameters from a second user at a second location on the display screen such that at least one of the performance parameters from the first user and at least one of the performance parameters from the second user at the same point in the class are presented for comparison.
Upper body exercising device for attaching to and using in conjunction with a stationary bicycle
An upper body exercising device attaches to and is used in conjunction with a stationary bicycle having a seat tube. The upper body exercising device includes a pair of resistance mechanisms, and a clamping mechanism. The pair of resistance mechanisms are disposed on opposite sides of the clamping mechanism, respectively, and provide resistance for a user. The clamping mechanism attaches to the seat tube of the stationary bicycle so as to attach the upper body exercising device to and use in conjunction with the stationary bicycle.

Bed with exercise function
A bed with an exercise function includes: an upper exercise arm which is embedded in an insertion groove formed in a front surface or peripheral part of the head part, has a horizontal bar and leg parts extending downward from both ends of the horizontal bar, and is rotatable to protrude forward by a rotary support part provided at a lower end of the leg part; and a rotation stopping part which is coupled to the upper exercise arm and stops rotation of the upper exercise arm in a state in which the upper exercise arm protrudes forward at a predetermined angle.
WEIGHTED SLED
A sled for use in exercise which is pushed by a portion of a user's torso. The device has an extension member extending outwardly from a frame. A pusher member for receiving a portion of the user's torso is mounted to the end of the extension member, the frame has a lift device for reversing the direction of travel. A disc brake provides variable resistance to movement. A strain gauge sensor is used to provide performance information.
DUAL AND SOLO EXERCISE APPARATUS
A modular exercise apparatus includes internally threaded cross bars the ends of which are fitted with L-shaped mounting brackets secured in position between a pair of vertical frames by opposing manually threaded mounting bolts passing through aligned apertures in the frames and into the ends of the cross bars, the frames further stabilized by at least one U-shaped flanged supporting member secured to a base member of the frame by a threaded mounting bolt, so that the apparatus can be quickly and securely assembled without the use of tools to form a variable yet stable configuration that allows one or two users to execute a wide variety of vigorous bodyweight exercises, and can be easily disassembled to assume a compact configuration for storage, e.g., in a closet or beneath a bed. In an alternative configuration for solo use, the principal frame members of the apparatus are reduced in length and thereby in weight facilitating ease of movement of the assembled unit, as well as the disposition of the separate frame members, e.g., for storage.
