Actuating method and device for a helicoidal switch
The present invention relates to an actuating method and device which allows mechanically converting rotational movement into helicoidal movement, said helicoidal movement including considerable travel in the axial direction. To that end, the device comprises a rotating rod (1) inside a fixed outer body (2). The rod (1) comprises an emerging lug (4) sliding between two parallel surfaces (3) of the outer body (2), said parallel surfaces (3) being inclined with respect to the axial axis (5) of the rod (1).

ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY FOR ELECTRICAL SWITCHES HOUSED IN AN ENCLOSURE
An actuator assembly for actuating electrical switches housed in an electrical enclosure is disclosed. The assembly includes at least one handle assembly including a handle positioned above a cover of the enclosure, a trip bracket positioned below the cover and a shaft connecting the handle to the trip bracket. At least one slider actuator is slidably mounted over the electrical switch and coupled to a toggle of the electrical switch. The slider actuator has a drive link which is adapted to be engaged with the trip bracket such that rotation of the handle causes the drive link to slide which in turn causes a linear movement of the slider actuator to toggle the electrical switch. The use of the slider actuator allows a higher density of electrical switches to be stacked inside the enclosure.
Electrical switch
An electrical switch including a frame, an operating shaft, and a bridge member movable in a depth direction relative to the frame by rotation of the operating shaft, wherein the depth direction is parallel with a rotation axis of the operating shaft, and wherein the operating shaft is adapted to exert a first opening force to the bridge member during an opening event. The electrical switch includes an anti-tilting member movable in a lateral direction relative to the frame by rotation of the operating shaft, the lateral direction being perpendicular to the depth direction, wherein the anti-tilting member is adapted to exert a second opening force to the bridge member during the opening event, the second opening force being parallel to the first opening force and spaced apart from it in the lateral direction.
SWITCH FOR DISCONNECTING AN ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT
A switch for disconnecting or connecting an electrical circuit and a method of operating said switch. The switch comprises a first cam engageable by a user and axially rotatable around a first axis by an operating angle between an on position and an off position. The switch further comprises a second cam contacting the first cam, wherein rotation of the first cam causes rotation of the second cam around the first axis. The second cam comprises an axial cam portion and a transverse cam portion, the transverse cam portion comprising a protrusion extending along a direction perpendicular to the first axis and two detents arranged symmetrically either side of the protrusion, wherein the two detents are arranged at an oblique angle, , with respect to each other. The switch further comprises one or more biasing members configured to exert a force on the transverse cam portion of the second cam.
Switch device
Provided is a switch device including rotor members mounted so as to be rotatable about a longitudinal axis of a lever main body, knob members mounted so as to be integrally rotatable with the rotor members, the knob members including cam surfaces that face the cam surfaces of the rotor members with a gap therebetween, a movable contact member being movable in the longitudinal axis direction by a rotational operation of the rotor members and the knob members about the longitudinal axis, and a flexible substrate linearly disposed in the longitudinal axis direction in at least a movable range of the movable contact member, the flexible substrate including a contact portion, a contact terminal of the movable contact member being brought into contact with and separated from the contact portion in association with the movement in the longitudinal axis direction of the movable contact member.
Modular electromechanical switching element
An electromechanical switching device for providing an electrical connection between terminals as a function of a switched state based on a manual activation, where the switching device has a rotatably mounted activation unit that can be activated manually and a switching unit which is connectable to the activation unit, the switching unit provides pat least two electrical terminals and electrically interconnects them as a function of the electrical switched state, for which purpose the switching unit has at least one switching element slideably mounted in a longitudinal direction of the switching device, the switching device has a coupling unit that mechanically interconnects the activation and switching units and that is configured to transmit the manual activation of the activation unit to the switching element of the switching unit, and where the electromechanical switching device is formed in a modular manner via at least the activation, coupling unit and switching units.
GAS BURNER ARRANGEMENT, COOKTOP AND STOVE
A gas burner arrangement for a hotplate includes at least two gas burners, each gas burner having operably connected thereto a gas valve for regulating a combustion gas flow to the gas burners, and a thermoelement for monitoring a flame of the gas burners. The thermoelement is coupled to the gas valve by an electrical circuit, such that when the flame of the associated gas burner is extinguished, the combustion gas flow to the gas burner is interrupted with the aid of the gas valve. Each electrical circuit includes a mechanically actuatable switch configured to couple or decouple the electrical circuit between the associated thermoelement and the associated gas valve. The mechanically actuatable switch includes a contact element having a noble metal. A shared actuation element controls the mechanically actuatable switches of the electric circuits.
