Output-switch control system for AC-DC power supply
09748055 · 2017-08-29 · ·

An output-switch control system for an AC-DC power supply includes a push-button switch that has two triggers. The triggers correspond to different contacts of a detecting circuit, respectively. When the push-button switch is pressed to make the triggers and the contacts turn into a close-circuit state form an open-circuit state, the detecting circuit outputs a power-source-on signal, and when the push-button switch is pressed again, and either of the triggers and the contact turn into the close-circuit state form the open-circuit state, the detecting circuit outputs a power-source-off signal immediately. With the dual-transition signal certification at the contacts, safe output-switch control can be achieved, so as to provide a user with operational safety.

Power strips

A power strip having two or more powers strips daisy chained together where each of the two or more power strips include a sequence control module operable to sequentially activate and/or deactivate the outlets, thereby powering up or powering down each outlet separately across the two or more power strips. A pre-determined time delay, that can be set by a user, occurs between the activation and/or deactivation of the outlets. The sequence control module of each power strip is operatively coupled to the sequence control module of the subsequent next power strip so that one power strip can be used to trigger activation of the next power strip.

An electronic circuit arrangement for use in an explosive area may include an electrical signal line, which connects an electrical input connector to an electrical output connector, and an electrical earth line, which can be or is electrically connected to the electrical signal line by at least one electrical earthing line. An inductive component and a semiconductor switch may be arranged in the at least one earthing line. The semiconductor switch may be switched between a closed state, in which the signal line is electrically connected via the at least one earthing line to the earth line, and an open state, in which this electrical connection is interrupted.

Polarity adaptive power source apparatus

Described are devices for automatically adapting electrical polarity from a power source to a specified output polarity for use by an electrical load. In one implementation, power adaptation circuitry comprising one or more bridge circuits accept electrical power of unspecified polarity and output specified polarity. The bridge circuit may comprise a plurality of field-effect transistors (FETs) configured such that a particular subset of the FETs are energized to conduct electric current to the outputs when a particular polarity is applied at inputs.

MAINTENANCE GROUNDING DEVICE IN MOTOR CONTROL CENTER WITH INTEGRATED INTERLOCK SYSTEM

A motor control center includes an enclosure comprising an isolation switch, a main contactor device, and a ground switch device. The isolation switch is selectively manually operable between a connected state and a disconnected state. In the connected state the isolation switch is adapted to conduct electrical power from an associated power source to the main contactor device and wherein the isolation switch in the disconnected state interrupts conduction of electrical power from the associated power source to the main contactor device. The main contactor device is selectively operable between a conductive state and a non-conductive state, wherein the main contactor device is adapted to electrically connect the isolation switch to the ground switch device and to an associated electrical load when the main contactor device is in its conductive state and wherein the main contactor device disconnects said isolation switch from the ground switch device and the associated electrical load when the main contactor device is in its non-conductive state. The ground switch device is manually operable from an open, ungrounded state in which the main contactor device is electrically disconnected from a ground path to a closed, grounded state in which the main contactor device is electrically connected to the ground path. The motor control center further includes a first interlock device operably connected between the isolation switch and the ground switch device, wherein the first interlock device prevents movement of the isolation switch from the disconnected state to the connected state when the ground switch device is in the grounded state.
