SWITCHING DEVICE FOR FAST DISCONNECTION OF SHORT-CIRCUIT CURRENTS

A switching device for fast disconnection of short-circuit currents is provided. The switching device comprises a switching bridge with a movable contacting element and a fixed contacting element. The switching bridge being operable in a closed state, in which the movable contacting element is in contact with the fixed contacting element, and an open state, in which the movable contacting element is spaced apart from the fixed contacting element. The switching device further comprises an electromagnetic switching drive with a coil for generating a magnetic field and a magnet anchor, a guide sleeve to guide the movement of the magnet anchor in the magnetic field of the coil, a pyrotechnic propellant charge located in the cavity, and a supporting device for supporting the guide sleeve. The magnet anchor is arranged within the guide sleeve such that a cavity is formed below the magnet anchor.

Switch device

A gas-insulated puffer-type switch device for operating inside a sealed gas tight enclosure of an electric power distribution switchgear, the sealed gas tight enclosure being filled with a dielectric gas having a global warming potential lower than that of SF6. The switch device has at least one of improved compactness, minimised electrical stress, maximised heat dissipation and reduced environmental impact.

Switch device

A gas-insulated puffer-type switch device for operating inside a sealed gas tight enclosure of an electric power distribution switchgear, the sealed gas tight enclosure being filled with a dielectric gas having a global warming potential lower than that of SF6. The switch device has at least one of improved compactness, minimised electrical stress, maximised heat dissipation and reduced environmental impact.

GAS INSULATION APPARATUS

A gas insulation apparatus has a sealed container, an insulation gas, a high-voltage portion, and a removal material. The insulation gas has CO.sub.2 and O.sub.2 filling the sealed container as main components. The high-voltage portion is stored in the sealed container. The removal material reduces concentrations of HF, CO, and O.sub.3 in the insulation gas.

Insulating molded body and gas circuit breaker

An insulating molded body to be used for an arc extinguishing device of a gas circuit breaker is provided. The insulating molded body includes a fluororesin mixture which contains a fluororesin and an oxygen generator configured to generate oxygen through thermal decomposition at 450° C. or more and 1,150° C. or less with an arc generated when a conduction current is interrupted. The oxygen generator is dispersed in the fluororesin. Also provided is a gas circuit breaker including an insulating nozzle formed of the insulating molded body.

Insulating molded body and gas circuit breaker

An insulating molded body to be used for an arc extinguishing device of a gas circuit breaker is provided. The insulating molded body includes a fluororesin mixture which contains a fluororesin and an oxygen generator configured to generate oxygen through thermal decomposition at 450° C. or more and 1,150° C. or less with an arc generated when a conduction current is interrupted. The oxygen generator is dispersed in the fluororesin. Also provided is a gas circuit breaker including an insulating nozzle formed of the insulating molded body.

Switch-fuse module

A switch-fuse module and a ring main unit. The switch-fuse module includes: a housing having therein a first enclosure including a first insulating gas and a second enclosure including a second insulating gas; at least one switch disconnector arranged within the first enclosure; and at least one fuse at least partially surrounded by the second enclosure; wherein each of the first insulating gas and the second insulating gas has a global warming potential less than a global warming potential of SF6, and the first enclosure is different and separate from the second enclosure.
