A modular shoe having interchangeable: outer shoe shell, footbed and internal heel collar. The outer shoe shell provisions a full upper secured to an outsole. The footbed provides the primary cushioning for the wearer's foot, and the internal heel collar is releasably secured to the footbed, the footbed and the internal heel collar presenting a sub-assembly that is mountable within the outer shoe shell. The modular system can include additional components such as tongue extensions and various decoratives.

An orthotic footwear system including a removable outsole, a removable reinforced hollow midsole attached to the top of the outsole, and a removable insole attached to the top of the midsole. A removable metatarsal pad can be attached to the top of the insole, and removable support inserts can be attached around the insole for additional support of problematic areas. Support inserts can be used to support the arch area, the heel area, or both. Each of the removable parts can be interchanged with parts of the same type having different ergonomic characteristics. The user can change the parts of the orthotic to suit their needs. Further, the support inserts can be used apart from the rest of the system, with any insole configured to receive them.

A footlet (1) is provided with a heel portion (2), a toe portion (6) and a middle portion (4) interposed between the heel portion and the toe portion. The heel portion is provided with a thread comprising an anti-slip agent, which thread is incorporated in the heel portion by knitting.

The implementation improves in the best possible way the integration between the insole and a modified sock, different than those currently known. The present implementation describes an insole-sock type insert for shoes, which presents a novel configuration that consists of an insole, which has a short, medium, or modified sock attached to it, totally or partially, within the extension of the insole; a short, medium, or modified sock, partially attached to the insole, remaining loose or free in the front part where the toes go and/or part of the instep as well as the front part of the foot, and; an attachment mechanism between the insole and the short, medium, or modified sock, which allows for their attachment, where such mechanism is a seam, Velcro, adhesive, or any other type of method that has the same function.

The present invention provides an improved orthotic device adapted to be inserted into a high-heeled or raised-heel shoe and to receive a human foot thereon. The orthotic device may be operable to adhere to the sole of the shoe and may comprise a proximal contoured slope operable to prevent migration and increase acceptance of body weight at the heel of the wearer's foot and may comprise a distal contoured slope operable to support the arch of the wearer's foot, preventing the foot from sliding forward and focusing excessive painful pressure at the user's toes. The orthotic device may also have dual layers of adhesive material separated by a peel-away backing, and an inferior surface concavity with a channel allowing solvent to be used to dissolve the adhesive if the orthotic device needs to be repositioned or changed to a new shoe.

There is also a soft metatarsal raised dome on the top (foot contact) surface of the insole which would be directly above the metatarsal midfoot area.
