Gas circuit breaker
In order to solve the above-described problems, a gas circuit breaker of the present invention has an insulating nozzle disposed so as to cover an inner surface of a coupling member such that an end surface of the coupling member and an end surface of the insulating nozzle form one surface (the end surface of the coupling member is flush with the end surface of the insulating nozzle), in order to suppress contact between a high-temperature and high-pressure gas generated by an arc and the coupling member coupling the insulating nozzle and a driving rod.
Interrupter unit for a circuit breaker
An interrupter unit for a circuit breaker has two electrically conductive arcing contact pieces, which can be moved relative to one another along a switching path. An insulating nozzle has a nozzle channel through which the switching path runs. A heating volume is connected to the nozzle channel. A separating housing divides the heating volume into a cold gas region and a hot gas region. A cold gas duct runs through a nozzle channel end section of the nozzle channel and is connected to the cold gas region. A hot gas duct runs through the nozzle channel end section and is connected to the hot gas region.

Gas insulated grounding switch
A circuit breaker apparatus has a housing, electrical power inlet, electrical power outlet, a main circuit breaker, a grounding switch, and a mechanical linkage. The main circuit breaker and the grounding switch each have a pair of contactors therein. The mechanical linkage is movable between a pair of positions in which one of the positions causes the pair of contactors of the main circuit breaker to close and the pair of contactors of the grounding switch to open and another position in which the pair of contactors of the main circuit breaker are open and such that the pair of contactors of the grounding switch are closed. The housing has an interior that is filled with an isolating gas.
DEVICE FOR INTERRUPTING NON-SHORT CIRCUIT CURRENTS ONLY, IN PARTICULAR DISCONNECTOR OR EARTHING SWITCH
The present invention relates to a device for interrupting non-short circuit currents only, and in particular relates to a disconnector, more particularly high voltage disconnector, or to an earthing switch, more particularly make-proof earthing switch, and further relates to a low voltage circuit breaker. The device comprises at least two contacts movable in relation to each other between a closed state and an open state and defining an arcing region, in which an arc is generated during a current interrupting operation and in which an arc-quenching medium comprising an organofluorine compound is present. According to the application, a counter-arcing component is allocated to the arcing region, the counter-arcing component being designed for counteracting the generation of an arc and/or being designed for supporting the extinction of an arc.

Switch
A switch includes: a first contact and a second contact placed on an operation axis and facing each other; an urging part that urges the second contact to a first contact side; and a second magnetic material part that engages with the second contact to restrict the second contact from moving to the first contact side. The switch also includes: a conductor part that passes current when an arc is formed between the first contact and the second contact; and a first magnetic material part that surrounds the conductor part. When current flows through the conductor part, the second magnetic material part is disengaged from the second contact.

COMPRESSED GAS SWITCH
A switch, includes electrical contacts separated by a contact gap, a tubular guide disposed around at least one of the electrical contacts axially movable between an open position retracted from the contact gap and a closed position bridging the contact gap, a blast cylinder disposed radially outward of the tubular guide and defining a compression volume therebetween, the blast cylinder axially movable in coordination with the tubular guide between the open position and the closed position, an isolating ring coupled to a tubular guide end, and a blast cylinder bottom ring coupled to a blast cylinder end, the blast cylinder bottom ring and the isolating ring configured to engage each other to form a gas seal to prevent a gas from exiting the contact gap into the compression volume when the blast cylinder and the tubular guide are moved to the closed position.
