HIGH VOLTAGE PUFFER BREAKER AND A CIRCUIT BREAKER UNIT COMPRISING SUCH A PUFFER BREAKER
Gas-insulated high voltage puffer breaker comprising a puffer unit with a movable piston running in a puffer cylinder and delimiting a puffer volume. A piston and a first contact member are attached to a piston stem. A piston and a first contact member are attached to a piston stem. An electric arc is extinguishable in an arcing zone when the first contact member moves from a first position to a second position. The puffer volume is fluidly connected to a gas nozzle by a gas channel such that the puffer volume comprises the gas channel as well as a portion of the puffer cylinder. The gas channel is provided radially outside of the puffer cylinder between a puffer cylinder wall delimiting the puffer cylinder and a wall structure of the puffer unit.

The invention provides electric power line switchgear (10) comprising a main movable contact (14) and a secondary movable contact (16), capable of moving along a main axis A of the switchgear (10), in which the main movable contact (14) is connected to the secondary movable contact (16) by means of a crank mechanism (20) that transforms the movement of the main movable contact (14) in one direction into a movement of the secondary movable contact (16) in an opposite direction; the switchgear being characterized in that the crank mechanism (20) comprises two levers (22, 24) mounted to pivot relative to the stationary housing (12) about respective parallel pivot axes (B, C), each lever (22, 24) being connected firstly to a respective one of the main movable contact (14) and the secondary movable contact (16), and secondly to the other lever (24, 22).
Earthing switch
An earthing switch includes a fixed contact part fixed in an enclosure, a movable contact part disposed to face the fixed contact part, having a hollow portion formed therein, and having one end portion connected to a driving device and driven by the driving device so that the other end portion thereof is connected to or separated from the fixed contact part, and a piston part located in the hollow portion and moving relative to the movable contact part, wherein the hollow portion extends in a longitudinal direction of the movable contact part, both end portions of the hollow portion are formed to be open in the longitudinal direction.

The disclosure relates to a circuit-breaker for high-voltage applications including at least one making and breaking unit having a first contact and a second contact for forming an electrically conductive connection in a connection region, wherein the first contact has an outlet arranged distant to the connection region for insulating gas passing the connection region and through the first contact and wherein the first contact is movable along an axially extending switching axis of the circuit-breaker over a moving distance between a closed position where the electrically conductive connection is formed and an open position where the electrically conductive connection is separated; a gas compression cylinder that is motion-coupled to the first contact and which defines a cylinder volume for the insulating gas, wherein the cylinder volume is variable by means of a piston sliding in the gas compression cylinder when moving the first contact.
