Electronic assembly with thermal fuse, an electric motor and a drive of a motor vehicle
An electronic assembly contains a circuit board having a current-conducting current path with two mutually spaced-apart current path ends that form an interruption point and a contact clip bridging the interruption point. The contact clip is manufactured without a preload, as a thermal fuse. The contact clip has a multiple bent, open clip loop and a contact limb making contact with both mutually spaced-apart current path ends using solder. The contact clip further has a fixing limb with a limb end seated in a circuit board opening. The limb end of the fixing limb is oversized relative to a circuit board opening, and a deformation being imparted to the contact clip, with an internal preload being generated.
Arrangement for non-reversible detection and display of electrical overcurrents or current limit values by means of a pre-finished conductor
The invention relates to an arrangement for non-reversible detection and display of electrical overcurrents or current limit values by means of a pre-finished conductor. The conductor according to the invention has at least two conductor sections, spaced apart from each other and extending parallel to each other, which are designed for current to flow through in the same direction. At least one of the parallel conductor sections has a protrusion, a nose, or similar blocking element, which limits the path of movement of a mechanical display or switching element, such that the electromagnetic force acting on the parallel conductor sections during the flow of current transitions the blocking element into a release position in respect of the path of movement of the mechanical display or switching element. Such an arrangement can be used particularly advantageously as a prior damage indicator in surge arresters.
Apparatus and method for modifying an electrical circuit
An apparatus for modifying an electrical circuit includes a first electrical contact, a second electrical contact, an electrical coupler formed of an electrically conductive material, a first assembly including a cavity, a driving portion, an inhibiting portion, and a second assembly electrically coupled to the second electrical contact. The electrical coupler is moveable within the cavity along a movement axis, a wall of the cavity is electrically coupled to the first electrical contact and to the electrical coupler, and when the electrical coupler is disposed at an initial position within the cavity, the electrical coupler is not electrically coupled to the second electrical contact. The driving portion applies a first force on the electrical coupler in a movement direction along the movement axis. The inhibiting portion inhibits the movement of the electrical coupler along the movement axis.
Protective Element
A protective element includes: at least two electrode portions (main electrodes) supported by an insulating support (insulating substrate); a fuse element that connects the electrode portions; and an operating flux provided on the fuse element. The operating flux has, on a surface thereof, a coating layer that covers the operating flux to prevent the operating flux from flowing.
Surge protection device having a plurality of surge arresters and, in particular thermal, isolating apparatus which is respectively associated with them
An overvoltage protection device has a plurality of overvoltage arresters and a disconnecting apparatus. For each of the overvoltage arresters a blocking element is present, each of which is arranged so as to block the path of movement of a mechanically preloaded wedge slide having a wedge bevel. A rocker lever arrangement has first lever arms corresponding to the number of wedge slides and at least one second lever arm for blocking or releasing a displacement element, wherein ends of the first lever arms each have a surface for contacting the respective wedge bevel of the wedge slides in such a way that, when the respective path of movement is released, at least one of the wedge slides lifts the corresponding first lever arm with its wedge bevel, as a result of which the second lever arm releases the displacement element.
Thermally triggerable indicating or switching device
The invention relates to a thermally triggerable indication or switching device, having a movable, mechanically preloaded slide which directly or indirectly triggers or actuates the indication or switching device, and having a preformed part which changes its state of aggregation under the effect of heat, the preformed part, in the functional state, being adapted to be arranged so as to block the movable slide. According to the invention, in the initial state, the preformed part is loosely located in a receiving space. For transferring the preformed part to the functional state, the slide is moved in a position such that a gap space opens between the slide and a slide stop, wherein the preformed part enters the gap space and the slide is simultaneously preloaded.
