An electromagnetic relay includes a first movable contact piece, a first movable contact, a second movable contact, a moving member, a coil, and a movable iron core. The moving member holds the first movable contact piece. The moving member is made of a resin having electrical insulation. The moving member includes a first member and a second member. The first member is connected to a movable iron core. The second member is a separate body from the first member. The second member is connected to the first member by snap fitting. The first member includes a convex portion. The convex portion projects toward the second member in a moving direction of the moving member. The second member includes an inspection hole. The inspection hole faces the convex portion in the moving direction and extends in the moving direction.

A latching relay includes first and second coils and a common plunger operatively connected therebetween such that activation of the first coil moves the plunger in a first direction and activation of the second coil moves the plunger in a second direction, opposite the first direction, the first and second directions lying in a first plane. A limit switch includes a common contact and first and second coil contacts, where a position of the common contact is alternately switched between electrical connection to either the first or second coil contact based on a position of the plunger. A slide toggle accessible by a user is operatively connected to the plunger and slideable together with the plunger such that actuation of the slide toggle by the user causes manual actuation of the plunger. The slide toggle is slideable in a second plane parallel to the first plane.

Electromagnetic relay

A displaceable portion of a moving contactor is connected to, and electrically conductive with, a pair of moving contacts. An armature actuates the moving contactor. The armature has an adhering portion to be adhered onto an electromagnet. A space inside an opening that exposes a part (an exposed part) of the displaceable portion crosses a predetermined plane. The predetermined plane intersects at right angles with an arrangement direction (a first direction) in which the pair of moving contacts is arranged side by side. The predetermined plane passes through a center between both ends in the arrangement direction of the adhering portion.

Electromagnetic relay

An electromagnetic relay includes a base having a receiving space, an electromagnetic unit disposed outside of the receiving space, a magnetically attractive member magnetically attractable by the electromagnet unit, a first stationary contact disposed in the receiving space, a second stationary contact, a movable terminal member and a movable contact. When the electromagnetic unit is energized, the movable terminal member is pushed by the magnetically attractive member and the movable contact contacts one of the first and second stationary contacts. When the electromagnetic unit is de-energized, the movable contact contacts the other one of the first and second stationary contacts.
