An electromagnetic relay includes: a coil; a bobbin; a core inserted into the bobbin; an armature; a first fixed contact; a first movable spring including a first movable contact configured to cause the first movable contact to move into and out of contact with the first fixed contact; a second fixed contact; a second movable spring including a second movable contact configured to cause the second movable contact to move into and out of contact with the second fixed contact; and a card configured to cause the second movable contact to move into or out of contact with the second fixed contact according to switching of the coil between an excited state and a non-excited state. The first movable spring includes a first end portion near the first end of the armature and a second end portion farther from the first end of the armature.

ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY

An electromagnetic relay includes an electromagnet device, an armature and a fixed terminal. By coil current through a coil, the electromagnet device generates first magnetic flux that forces the armature and the electromagnet device together or apart in a first end in a first direction of the armature. The armature is connected with a movable contact at a second end of the first direction and forces the movable contact and a fixed contact together or apart according to coil current. The fixed terminal is electrically connected with the fixed contact, and provided around the armature so as to cross the armature as seen from a second direction perpendicular to the first direction with the armature closing the fixed and movable contacts. Electric current through the fixed terminal generates a second magnetic flux in the armature, a direction of which is opposite to that of the first magnetic flux.

ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY

An electromagnetic relay includes an electromagnet, an armature configured to shift in response to a magnetic force generated by the electromagnet, a movable spring having a movable contact disposed thereon, a fixed spring including a first contact strip and a second contact strip, the first contact strip having a first fixed contact disposed thereon, the second contact strip having a second fixed contact disposed thereon, the first fixed contact and the second fixed contact facing the movable contact, and a linkage member configured to link the armature and the movable spring to shift the movable spring in conjunction with movement of the armature.

Contact Spring and Cradle for an Electrical Switching Element and Same

A contact spring for a cradle relay of an electrical switch comprises a switching leg and a hook extending from the switching leg. The switching leg has a contact. The hook has a first tongue bent back toward the switching leg.

Electromagnetic relay

An electromagnetic relay includes a contact including a movable spring having a base end fixed to a bottom of a housing and a tip end provided with a movable contact, and a fixed spring having a base end fixed to the bottom of the housing and a tip end provided with a fixed contact. The movable contact is provided opposite to the fixed contact so as to come in contact with the fixed contact or move away therefrom. The housing has a protrusion protruding toward a side of the fixed contact opposite to a side facing the movable contact.

Yoke Assembly With Decelaration Element for Switching Device and Same

A yoke assembly for an electromagnetic switching device is disclosed. The yoke assembly comprises a yoke and an elastic deceleration element. The yoke has a support face supporting an abutment face of an actuating assembly in a position of the switching device. The elastic deceleration element is mounted on the yoke and has a deceleration face disposed at a distance from the support face.

Electrical Contact Switch and Electrical Contactor
20170110276 · 2017-04-20 ·

An electrical contact switch for use in an electrical contactor, which comprises first and second electrical terminals, an electrically-conductive busbar in electrical communication with the first electrical terminal, and at least one fixed electrical contact which is attached to the electrically-conductive busbar. The switch also has an electrically-conductive moveable arm in electrical communication with the second electrical terminal, with at least one moveable electrical contact which is attached to the electrically-conductive moveable arm to form an electrical contact set with the fixed electrical contact. A fixed ferromagnetic element is positioned at or adjacent to a side of the electrically-conductive moveable arm proximate the second electrical terminal, and a moveable ferromagnetic element is provided in physical communication with a side of the electrically-conductive moveable arm which is opposite to the fixed ferromagnetic element. In a closed condition of the electrical contact set, the electrically-conductive moveable arm induces a magnetic field in the fixed and moveable ferromagnetic elements, and thus the moveable ferromagnetic element is magnetically attracted towards the fixed ferromagnetic element to thereby increase a contact pressure on the electrical contact set. An electrical contactor and method of preventing or inhibiting contact bounce of an electrical contactor are also provided.

Contact device

The contact device includes an armature, a driver, a fixed contact, a movable contact, a contact spring, and a card. The driver drives the armature. The movable contact is to be in contact with and separate from the fixed contact. The contact spring is for holding the movable contact so as to allow the movable contact to be in contact with and separate from the fixed contact. The card interconnects the armature and the contact spring. The card is made of resilient material and fixed to each of the armature and the contact spring.
