Provided is a breaker including a breaking unit for breaking a current in two directions; and a housing including a plurality of slots in which the breaking unit is inserted, and a circuit wired in advance to be connected between different points according to a slot in which the breaking unit is inserted.

Switch disconnector for manually switching a number of electrical contacts

The invention relates to a switch having a switch housing, a number of module-type individual interrupter chambers which can be arranged in particular side by side in the switch housing and having at least two switching contact elements, and an actuating device which closes off the switch housing above the individual interrupter chambers. This actuating device serves to adjust a cam element for the selective establishment of an electrical connection between the switching contact elements of an individual interrupter chamber. The switching contact elements can be arranged in at least two different orientations in each individual interrupter chamber in an explosion-protected manner. Furthermore, in particular the cam element of the actuating device can be arranged differently depending on the orientation of the switching contact elements. This results in a switch with a simple adaptation option for housing installation or front-panel mounting, wherein all requirements for explosion protection are also fulfilled at the same time.

ARC-FAULT CIRCUIT INTERRUPTER WITH FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM

The invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and power engineering and can be used for the timely emergency shutdown of electrical equipment under the effect of high temperatures, for example in the event of fire, as well as in the event of arcing. The technical result consists in improving the timeliness of an initial fire-extinguishing action and more effectively impeding the spread of fire in an enclosed space such as, in particular, an electrical control panel, while simultaneously interrupting an electrical circuit. The proposed device, which acts like a standard arc-fault circuit interrupter (AFCI) for single-phase or three-phase connections, includes a module containing an aerosol-forming or gas-forming composition (aerosol module), which projects beyond a housing of the device, a self-combusting heat-sensitive igniter disposed on the projecting portion, and a heat-sensitive shutdown device that is connected by conductors to a mechanism for the automatic shutdown of neutral and phase A in the case of a single-phase embodiment and of any phase in the case of a three-phase embodiment.

A system includes a circuit breaker and a switching module with a first module terminal for electrically connecting the switching module to an electrical circuit, and a second module terminal connected in electrical series with a first terminal of the circuit breaker. A switching device of the switching module is connected in electrical series between the first and second module terminals and is configured to switch between an ON state for allowing electrical current through the electrical circuit and an OFF state for opening the electrical circuit to stop current flow therethrough. The circuit breaker has a first housing that houses the breaker mechanism therein. The switching module has a second housing that houses the switching device therein. The second housing can be mounted to the first housing. The first and second housings together can be configured to fit in a physical envelope of a molded case circuit breaker (MCCB).
