Circuit breaker handle indication using opto-mechanical design
A circuit breaker can include a light source, an optical sensor, a handle and a processor. The handle can be movable between different handle positions which correspond to different circuit breaker statuses. The handle can include a handle body and a light control plate which moves along with the handle body. The light control plate can have different light passage regions each of which is configured to be positioned between the light source and the optical sensor when the handle is moved to a corresponding one of the different handle positions. Each of the different light passage regions allows a different amount of light emitted from the light source to pass to the sensor when positioned between the light source and the sensor. The processor is configured to determine a status of the circuit breaker based on the sensed amount of light which relates to a position of the handle.

CIRCUIT BREAKER
A circuit breaker is provided, which includes a cradle having a plurality of cradle terminals, and a breaker main body connected to the cradle and having a plurality of breaker terminals electrically connected to the plurality of cradle terminals, in which each of the plurality of breaker terminals includes a terminal body extended from the breaker main body and protruded toward each of the plurality of cradle terminals, contacts coupled to upper and lower portions of terminal body and disposed in parallel to face each other, and a contact protrusion protruded to a round shape in a direction which the contacts face each other such that, upon connection of the plurality of cradle terminals, the contact protrusion contacts and presses both sides of the connected cradle terminals.
Molded-case circuit breaker
A molded-case circuit breaker includes a handle, a contact system and an actuating device. In an embodiment, the handle is movable between an “ON” position and an “OFF” position, the contact system includes at least one stationary contact and a movable contact and the actuating device is operatively connected to the handle and the contact system such that, when the handle is actuated, it is possible to open and close the contact system. Furthermore, in the event of a fault state, the handle can be brought into a “TRIP” position arranged between the “ON” position and the “OFF” position by the actuating device.
Exchange operating mechanism
A changeable mechanism includes a contact support, a connecting rod, a connecting shaft, a cantilever, and a changeable component. The contact support has a moving contact therein, and rotates about a shaft. The connecting rod bottom end is connected to the contact support, the connecting rod top end is connected to a cantilever through a connecting shaft. The changeable component is connected to and drives the cantilever through a main shaft, and drives the contact support to rotate through the connecting shaft and connecting rod. Rotation of the contact support makes the moving contact and static contact separate or in contact to realize opening or closing a circuit breaker. The changeable mechanism may switch between a manual operation mechanism and an electrical operation mechanism of a MCB. The changeable component does not dispose the electrical operation mechanism outside the MCB, so that height and volume of the MCB is reduced.
SELF-RESETTING BIASING DEVICES FOR CURRENT LIMITING CIRCUIT BREAKER TRIP SYSTEMS
A circuit breaker including a case, a trip mechanism, and a trip lever moveable between a first position and a second position. The trip lever includes a first end selectively contacting the trip mechanism and a second end opposite the first end. The circuit breaker also includes a biasing device including a housing coupled to the case and a lever arm coupled to the housing. The lever arm includes an engagement surface in contact with the second end and configured to move between an initial position corresponding to the first position and a final position corresponding to the second position. The biasing device also includes a bias member extending between the housing and the lever arm and biasing the engagement surface against the second end. The lever arm exerts a first torque in the first position and exerts a second torque different from the first torque in the second position.
ELECTRICAL BREAKER REAR SIDE ACTUATOR
A breaker actuator includes a slide plate, at least one actuator lever, and a drive plate. The slide plate is linearly movable. The actuator lever is rotatable about a pivot. The actuator lever engages the slide plate and rotational movement of the actuator lever is actuatable by linear movement of the slide plate. The drive plate is moveable between an off position and an on position and is actuatable by rotational motion of the at least one actuator lever. A method for actuating a breaker includes moving a slide plate linearly from a first position to a second position, rotating at least one actuator lever about a pivot from a first position to a second position by the linear movement of the slide plate, and moving a drive plate in front of an electrical breaker from an off position to an on position by the rotational motion of the actuator lever.
Circuit breaker having equalized poles
The circuit breaker includes two polarities each including two poles connected in parallel, each pole having a switch and a tripping device. Each of the polarities has an equalizer electrically connecting the link between the switch and the tripping device of a first pole and the link between the switch and the tripping device of the second pole.

Molded case circuit breaker
The present invention relates to a molded case circuit breaker, in which a locking member is formed at an inner side of a lever and an anti-rotation member is formed at an upper like. Accordingly, the locking member can be brought into contact with the anti-rotation member even though a handle is rotated to an OFF position even in a fused state between a fixed contactor and a movable contactor, thereby preventing a rotation of the handle to the OFF position.
