CIRCUIT BREAKER
20210098219 · 2021-04-01 ·

A circuit breaker including: a first fixed contact and a first movable contact which can be switched between a closed status where they are coupled to each other and a tripped status where they are separated from each other; a signaling device for signaling when the circuit breaker is in a tripped status; a trip actuator movable from an initial position to an end-stroke position when the first movable contact has to be switched from the closed status into the tripped status; a tripping bar which is connected to the first movable contact so as when the trip actuator moves from the initial position, the tripping bar moves and triggers switching of the first movable contact from the closed status into the tripped status; and a trip member having a single-piece shaped body which includes: a first portion interacting with and actuated by the trip actuator to move from a rest position towards an actuated position when the trip actuator moves from the initial position; a second portion which is spaced apart from the first portion, interacting and actuating the tripping bar, and a third portion which is spaced apart from the first and second portions, interacting and actuating the signaling device.

Attachment Housing Arrangement and Method for Unlocking

Plug connections and in particular plug connections for use in an industrial environment are presented. An attachment housing arrangement has an attachment housing for accommodating a hood of a plug connector with plug contacts and a mechanical locking arrangement for mechanically locking the hood on the attachment housing. Also presented is a method for unlocking a mechanical locking of a hood of a plug connector with plug contacts on an attachment housing of an attachment housing arrangement. The attachment housing arrangement is provided with a fixing arrangement for fixing the mechanical locking arrangement at least in a locking state, and with a control unit for controlling the fixing arrangement, the control unit being configured to control the fixing arrangement so as to release a fixing of the locking arrangement only when the plug contacts are free of current and free of voltage within predefined tolerances.

Circuit breaker lockout apparatus

A circuit breaker lockout apparatus includes a base body having a first section, a second section, and a recess formed between the first and second sections to receive a switch lever of a circuit breaker; a fixing element installed at the first section of the base body and having an actuation section to fix the base body to a switch lever of a circuit breaker received in the recess; and a cover adjustably fastened between a release position and a lockout position at the base body, the actuation section of the fixing element is accessible in the release position and is covered in an inaccessible manner by the cover in the lockout position, and the cover is configured to be fixed to the base body in the lockout position to block an adjustment of the cover from the lockout position into the release position.

POLE ACTUATION BOOSTER MECHANISM
20210050169 · 2021-02-18 ·

A pole actuation booster mechanism for a four-poles low voltage circuit breaker, which includes: a first operating member adapted to be operatively connected to the operating shaft of the circuit breaker and moving together with said shaft during its rotation from an open position to a closed position, and vice-versa, of said circuit breaker over a range of movement having a first, a second and a third portion of movement, the first operating member having a first operating end; an operating assembly including at least an elastic element operatively connected to a lever, the first operating member being disengaged from said operating assembly during the first portion of its movement and engaged with the lever during the second and third portions of its movement. During a closing operation of the circuit breaker the first operating member moves first along the first portion of movement driven by the operating shaft and disengaged from the operating assembly, then moves along the second portion of movement driven by the operating shaft and engaged with the lever and transmitting energy to the operating assembly; and finally moves along the third portion of movement driven by the lever and transmitting energy to the operating shaft.
