An apparatus for reconfiguring a high-voltage circuit. The apparatus has a planar substrate, a non-conductive arm comprising a first contact and a rotary actuator having a body fixed to the substrate and a rotatable element fixed to the arm. The actuator is configured to selectably rotate the arm between a first position and a second position relative to the substrate. The apparatus also has a second contact fixed to the substrate such that the first contact makes conductive contact with the second contact when the arm is in the first position. The apparatus has a breakdown voltage that is greater than or equal to 500V.

Electrical Switch

An electrical switch including a frame, a first stationary contact, a second stationary contact, a roll element and a movable contact mounted to the roll element. The roll element is rotatable around a rotation axis between a first position and a second position relative to the frame. The movable contact includes a first contact portion and a second contact portion. In the first position of the roll element, the movable contact electrically conductively connects the first stationary contact to the second stationary contact, and in the second position of the roll element the first stationary contact is electrically disconnected from the second stationary contact. The first in contact portion and the second contact portion are located on opposite sides of a centre plane perpendicular to the rotation axis.

Electrical contactor system

An electrical contactor system includes a stationary contactor having a stationary contact, a moving contactor having a moving contact, a rotating member, a magnetic blow-out arc quenching device including a permanent magnet, and an isolation arc quenching device. The moving contactor is mounted on the rotating member and is rotatable between a connected position and a disconnected position. The moving contact is in electrical contact with the stationary contact when the moving contactor is rotated to the connected position, the moving contact is separated from the stationary contact when the moving contactor is rotated to the disconnected position. The permanent magnet is statically disposed in a vicinity of the stationary contactor for elongating an arc between the stationary contact and the moving contact by an electromagnetic force so as to extinguish the arc. The isolation arc quenching device pushes the arc toward the permanent magnet so as to force the arc to move to a vicinity of the permanent magnet.

Contactor having fixed and movable iron cores and a movable contact

A contactor includes a fixed iron core, a movable iron core, an operation coil, a first crossbar, a tripping spring, and a second crossbar. The contactor includes a push spring to push a movable contact toward a fixed contact, a trip coil connected to the fixed contact, and a plunger that is operated by an electromagnetic force generated in the trip coil when a current of a predetermined value or higher flows through the trip coil. The contactor includes an opening lever to push the second crossbar in a direction away from the first crossbar in conjunction with the operation of the plunger.

Splitter Plate, Arc Extinguishing Chamber And Switching Device

A splitter plate for an arc extinguishing chamber in a switching device, the splitter plate including a base portion; a pair of arms extending from the base portion; a recess for a movable contact defined between the arms; and a slot in each arm; wherein the recess is arranged between the slots. An arc extinguishing chamber for a switching device is also provided. A switching device for breaking an electric current, the switching device including a plurality of splitter plates or an arc extinguishing chamber is also provided.

CIRCUIT BREAKER

A circuit breaker, in particular of a power breaker, having a busbar which is mounted so as to be movable between a closed position and an open position. The busbar, a trip device and a hand lever are coupled by means of the mechanism in such a way that, when the hand lever is moved from the first position into the second position, the busbar is moved from the open position into the closed position. Upon tripping of the trip device, the busbar is moved from the closed position into the open position, and the hand lever is moved from the second position into the first position if it is not blocked. When the hand lever is moved from the second position into the first position, the busbar is moved from the closed position into the open position regardless of whether the busbar is blocked in the closed position.

MECHANICAL OPERATING ASSEMBLY FOR A BISTABLE RELAY AND A BISTABLE RELAY ASSEMBLY

The present invention relates to a mechanical operating assembly for a bistable relay and a bistable relay assembly. The mechanical operating assembly comprises: an actuating mechanism mounted to a bracket, including an actuating member and a first transmitting member which is connected to a paddle, the actuating member is movable between an initial position in which the actuating member is not in contact with the first transmitting member and an actuating position, when the actuating member moves from the initial position to the actuating position, the actuating member contacts the first transmitting member; a reset mechanism mounted to the bracket, including a reset member and a second transmitting member which is in contact with the first transmitting member, the reset member is movable between an initial position and a reset position, the reset member contacts the second transmitting member when moving from the initial position to the reset position.
