ELECTRICAL SWITCH
An electrical switch. The electrical switch comprises at least one fixed contact, a movable contact contacting the fixed contact, and at least one extinguishing apparatus positioned after the fixed contact in an opening direction of the movable contact. A permanent magnet is further positioned after the extinguishing apparatus in the opening direction of the movable contact.
Switching device for LV electric installations
A switching device for LV electric installations is disclosed which can include an outer casing and one or more electric poles. Each electric pole can include one or more mobile contacts and one or more fixed contacts adapted to be coupled or uncoupled. A mobile contact assembly is operatively coupled with the mobile contacts such that the mobile contacts move together with the mobile contact assembly. The mobile contact assembly is adapted to reversibly move between a first contact position, in which the movable contacts and the fixed contacts are coupled and a second contact position, in which the movable contacts and the fixed contacts are uncoupled. A mechanical control assembly is provided for operating said mobile contact assembly.
Circuit breaker
A circuit breaker, in particular of a power breaker, having a busbar which is mounted so as to be movable between a closed position and an open position. The busbar, a trip device and a hand lever are coupled by means of the mechanism in such a way that, when the hand lever is moved from the first position into the second position, the busbar is moved from the open position into the closed position. Upon tripping of the trip device, the busbar is moved from the closed position into the open position, and the hand lever is moved from the second position into the first position if it is not blocked. When the hand lever is moved from the second position into the first position, the busbar is moved from the closed position into the open position regardless of whether the busbar is blocked in the closed position.
SWITCHING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A SWITCHING DEVICE
A switching device comprises a first and a second fixed contact, a contact bridge, a first and a second movable contact arranged at the contact bridge, at least one contact spring, a contact bridge carrier which is movable and is coupled to the contact bridge via the at least one contact spring and a lever arm connected to the contact bridge or the contact bridge carrier and configured to slow down a movement of the contact bridge relative to the contact bridge carrier in case of a short circuit.
Double Breaker Switch
A double breaker switch comprises a contact bridge connected to an actuator at a connection point, a first fixed contact, and a second fixed contact. The contact bridge includes a first bridge contact connected to the connection point by a first arm and a second bridge contact connected to the connection point by a second arm. The second arm is longer than the first arm. The first bridge contact electrically connects with the first fixed contact at a first contact point in a closed state of the double breaker switch. The second bridge contact electrically connects with the second fixed contact at a second contact point and a third contact point in the closed state of the double breaker switch.
Arrangement for double break contact with electro-magnetic arc-blow
A high voltage switch system including a circuit interrupter having a first set of contacts in series with a first coil, which are in series with a second coil and a second set of contacts, the first coil wound around a first core and the second coil wound around a second coil such that upon an arc forming between the contacts of the first and second contacts, the arcs are motivated in opposite directions to be extinguished.
ARC CHUTE AND LOAD SWITCH COMPRISING SAME
The present invention provides an arc chute, which can be provided to make close contact with a curved frame part, and a load switch comprising same, the arc chute comprising: two cover parts, which are arranged to be adjacent to the outer circumference of a frame part, are spaced apart from each other, and overlap each other in the axial direction of the frame part; and an arc grid which is arranged between the two cover parts so as to be coupled to each of the two cover parts, wherein the cover part is formed in a shape in which one side coming into contact with the outer circumference of the frame part corresponds to the outer circumference of the frame part.
Circuit breaker housing and method of assembling
A circuit breaker housing assembly is disclosed. The housing (47) includes a first housing piece (14) defining a first interior surface (52) including a first mating surface (152), and a second housing piece (60) defining a second interior surface (62) including a second mating surface (260) which is opposingly coupled to the first mating surface to define a seam (202) therebetween. An adhesive material (201) is disposed between the corresponding first and second mating surfaces along the seam. A moveable contact is disposed in the housing and is selectively moveable with respect to a corresponding stationary contact. The first and second interior surfaces (52,62) further cooperatively define a first recess (120) therebetween, and the moveable contact assembly is disposed in said first recess.
SWITCHING ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A SWITCHING ARRANGEMENT
A switching arrangement comprises a switching device with a contact bridge, a magnetic drive coupled to the contact bridge and a control circuit. The control circuit comprises a current sensing unit configured to measure a load current flowing through the switching device, a trigger level detector having an input coupled to an output of the current sensing unit, a reset circuit having an input coupled to an output of the trigger level detector, a timer having a reset input coupled to an output of the reset circuit and a driver having a control input coupled to an output of the timer. A terminal of the driver is coupled to a first terminal of the magnetic drive.
Electrical switch unit for an electrical device
An electrical switch includes a fixed electrical contact; a movable electrical contact which is moveable relative to thereto between an ON position in contact with and, an OFF position out of contact with, the fixed electrical contact; a contact mover movably coupled to a terminal member moveable relative thereto so as to move the movable electrical contact between the ON and OFF positions; a biasing member coupling the contact mover and the terminal member together such that said biasing member acts upon the contact mover as the contact mover moves the movable electrical contact relative to the fixed electrical contact between the ON and OFF positions; wherein in the ON position, electrical current flows along a path comprising the terminal member, contact mover and movable electrical contact in series, and, an electrical insulation member arranged in series with the biasing member between the contact mover and the terminal member.
