Apparatus and method for achieving higher security on re-pairing
For providing data of an apparatus for applications, routing of the data via a communication node is provided. In this case, the apparatus communicates the data wirelessly to the communication node. This necessitates pairing the apparatus with the communication node beforehand, which is carried out with the aid of an installation key. The data transfer itself is then secured with a connection key defined during the pairing. If replacing or reconnecting the communication node necessitates carrying out re-pairing, at least one criterion relating to the reachability of the communication node is checked and the lack of reachability as per the criterion is made into the prerequisite for using the installation key instead of the connection key for re-pairing. At least one embodiment of the invention increases protection against interferers wanting to access the apparatus in an unauthorized manner.
FUSE HAVING AN INTEGRATED MEASURING FUNCTION, AND FUSE BODY
A fuse includes an integrated measuring function. In an embodiment, the fuse includes a fuse housing including a first receiving space delimited by a pressure body and a second receiving space spatially separated from the first receiving space. A fusible conductor is mounted in the first receiving space and a measuring device is accommodated and mounted in the second receiving space. The measuring device has a current transformer and an electronic assembly, electrically conductively connected to the current transformer. Viewed in a direction of longitudinal extent, a height of the current transformer essentially corresponds to a height of the second receiving space. With the aid of the measuring device, it is possible to determine the electric current flowing through the fuse in the immediate vicinity of the fuse. Energy required is generated from the primary current of the fuse by electromagnetic induction, meaning no external power source is required.
Smart dim fuse: electrical load flexibility controller using sub-circuit voltage modulation and load sensing
Improved control of electrical power consumption is provided with “Smart Dim Fuses” (SDF) which can alter their output voltage as provided to the load circuits they are connected to. SDF units can replace conventional circuit breakers in electrical panels. The voltage control capability provided by SDF units can lead to improved control of electrical power consumption, since many loads can smoothly operate at lower power consumption when the voltage they are driven with decreases. SDF units can comply with relevant safety requirements, such as uninterrupted neutral connections between electrical mains and load circuits. SDF units can also provide a current limiting function that can substitute for the protective action of conventional circuit breakers.
FUSE ELEMENT AND FUSE
A fuse element for a fuse with an integrated measurement function, includes a first receiving area in an embodiment, for receiving a melting conductor of the fuse, delimited in the length direction of the fuse by a closure element and in a direction orthogonal to the length direction by the fuse element. Further, in an embodiment, the fuse element has a second receiving area, physically separated from the first receiving area, for receiving a measuring device of the fuse. The second receiving area is designed to receive the measuring device in a wall section of the fuse element. The second receiving area formed in the fuse element protects the measuring device arranged therein against interfering environmental influences. The measuring device is used to ascertain the electric current flowing through the fuse directly on the fuse.
Fusible link, circuit arrangement and motor vehicle comprising said circuit arrangement
Melting fuse with a melting wire arranged between a first and a second terminal, characterized in that a connecting pin is arranged on each of the first and second terminals, a printed circuit board is placed on the connection pin, and at least one integrated circuit is arranged on the printed circuit board on the side facing away from the melting wire.
Fuse, fuse body, system and method
A fuse includes a protective housing and a measurement device. Two electrical connection elements of the fuse are routed out of the protective housing and at least one fuse element is arranged in the protective housing, the at least one fuse element electrically conductively connecting the two electrical connection elements in the protective housing to one another. The measurement device includes a sensor element to record a physical state measured value of the fuse and a transmission apparatus to transmit the measured value to a reception device arranged outside the fuse. The measurement device further includes a dedicated housing in which the sensor element is received and held, the dedicated housing being mechanically connected to the protective housing. An overall installation space required for the protective housing and the dedicated housing corresponds to an installation space of a standardized NH fuse. The fuse is usable for retrofit applications.
Fuse pad, printed circuit board having the fuse pad, and method of the printed circuit board
Disclosed are a fuse pad, a printed circuit board having the fuse pad, and a method of manufacturing the printed circuit board. The fuse pad includes a first pad provided at one side of a fuse, a second pad provided at an opposite side of the fuse, and a measurement pad electrically connected to the second pad to measure whether the fuse is detached.
Installation structure of thermal fuse
An installation structure of a temperature fuse is disclosed. The temperature fuse includes a first leg fixed to one surface of a printed circuit board (PCB), a bent part formed to be bent several times in an outer direction of the PCB from an end part of the first leg, and a second leg incorporated with the bent part and fixed to one surface of the PCB while being spaced apart from the first leg by a predetermined distance. The installation structure of the temperature fuse includes a third leg formed to extend from any one of the first leg and the second leg, a conductive member electrically connected to the third leg while being electrically isolated from the PCB, and a sensing part electrically connected to the third leg through the conductive member, and configured to detect whether a connection state between the third leg and the conductive member is normal.
