Printed circuit board assembly
A printed circuit board (PCB) assembly according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes a first pad; a second pad disposed to be spaced apart from the first pad; and a thermal fuse provided with a first terminal and a second terminal which are each coupled to the first pad and the second pad by soldering. Here, a contact area between the first pad and the first terminal is smaller than that between the second pad and the second terminal.
INSTALLATION STRUCTURE OF THERMAL FUSE
An installation structure of a temperature fuse is disclosed. The temperature fuse includes a first leg fixed to one surface of a printed circuit board (PCB), a bent part formed to be bent several times in an outer direction of the PCB from an end part of the first leg, and a second leg incorporated with the bent part and fixed to one surface of the PCB while being spaced apart from the first leg by a predetermined distance. The installation structure of the temperature fuse includes a third leg formed to extend from any one of the first leg and the second leg, a conductive member electrically connected to the third leg while being electrically isolated from the PCB, and a sensing part electrically connected to the third leg through the conductive member, and configured to detect whether a connection state between the third leg and the conductive member is normal.
Sealed fuse
A sealed fuse in accordance with the present disclosure may include a tubular fuse body, a trench formed in an exterior of the fuse body, and an electrically conductive endcap that fits over an end of the fuse body and is fastened to the fuse body by an electrically conductive material having a lip portion that extends into the trench to provide a barrier that extends between the fuse body and the endcap. In an embodiment, the trench may be formed in an end face of the fuse body and may extend entirely around an opening in the end of the fuse body. In another embodiment, the trench may be formed in an outwardly-facing surface of a sidewall of the fuse body and may extend entirely around the fuse body.
Fuse design
A fuse assembly includes a fuse element, a first terminal, a second terminal, a socket, and a capsule. The fuse element is disposed between first and second end bells. The first terminal includes a first bell portion, a first socket portion, and a first capsule portion, the first bell portion being connected to the first end bell. The second terminal includes a second bell portion, a second socket portion, and a second capsule portion, the second bell portion being connected to the second end bell. The first socket portion and the second socket portion are integrated through the socket. The first capsule portion and the second capsule portion are integrated through the capsule. The socket is seated atop the capsule to create an interior chamber inside which the fuse element is disposed.
ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY WITH THERMAL FUSE, AN ELECTRIC MOTOR AND A DRIVE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
An electronic assembly contains a circuit board having a current-conducting current path with two mutually spaced-apart current path ends that form an interruption point and a contact clip bridging the interruption point. The contact clip is manufactured without a preload, as a thermal fuse. The contact clip has a multiply bent, open clip loop and a contact limb making contact with both mutually spaced-apart current path ends using solder. The contact clip further has a fixing limb with a limb end seated in a circuit board opening. The limb end of the fixing limb has an oversize relative to a circuit board opening, and a deformation being imparted to the contact clip, with an internal preload being generated.
ELECTRICAL UNIT
An electrical unit includes a first housing member, a second housing member, and a fuse assembly. The fuse assembly may include a pre-fuse bus bar disposed at least partially in the first housing member. The first housing member may be configured to receive a first electrical connector. A plane may extend through the pre-fuse bus bar and the first electrical connector. The fuse assembly may include a fuse, and the plane may extend through the pre-fuse bus bar, the first electrical connector, and/or the fuse. The first housing member may be configured to receive a second electrical connector.
FUSE PAD, PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD HAVING THE FUSE PAD, AND METHOD OF THE PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD
Disclosed are a fuse pad, a printed circuit board having the fuse pad, and a method of manufacturing the printed circuit board. The fuse pad includes a first pad provided at one side of a fuse, a second pad provided at an opposite side of the fuse, and a measurement pad electrically connected to the second pad to measure whether the fuse is detached.
Electrical Fuse Element
An electric fuse element for arrangement on a printed circuit board is specified. The fuse element is formed as an SMD component and has a cuboidal insulating housing, two contact elements for electrical connection to the printed circuit board and at least one support element. The contact elements are arranged on a bottom side of the insulating housing, wherein the contact elements emerge at the bottom side of the insulating housing by way of a subregion, which has a contact area on the end side. The emerging subregion having the contact areas is of angled form.
