A high current fusible disconnect switch device includes a switch housing configured to receive a pluggable touch-safe fuse module, and a dual slide bar actuator assembly for opening and closing switch contacts. The dual slide bar elements are each coupled to bias elements that store and release energy to affect switch opening and closing operations. The switch opening and closing operation is multi-staged wherein the only the first slider element is movable in the first stage, and both the first and second slider elements are movable in the second stage.

A bus bar connector with a replaceable fuse are provided. A first terminal assembly inside the casing includes a first connecting element and plural first resilient contacts electrically connected with the first connecting element. A second terminal assembly inside the casing includes a second connecting element and plural second resilient contacts. An end of the second connecting element is electrically connected with the plural second resilient contacts, and another end of the second connecting element extends to form a cable connecting portion. The first cable assembly includes a first cable body extending from at least one of the left and right sides of the casing, and a cable connection portion connected to one side of the first cable body. The fuse element is connected in series between the cable connection portion and the first connecting element. The second cable assembly is electrically connected to the cable connecting portion.
