ELECTRICAL JUNCTION BOX

Provided is an electrical junction box for use in a vehicle that includes: a fit-in housing in which a plurality of fuses are fitted from one side; and a plurality of fuse terminals that connect the fuses fitted in the fit-in housing to a substrate, the electrical junction box comprising a holding body that is plate-shaped, is arranged so as to be opposed to an opposite surface of the fit-in housing that is opposite to the one side, and holds one-end portions of the fuse terminals that are close to the fit-in housing. The remaining portions of the fuse terminals other than the one-end portions are not held and are released.

Fusible link, circuit arrangement and motor vehicle comprising said circuit arrangement

Melting fuse with a melting wire arranged between a first and a second terminal, characterized in that a connecting pin is arranged on each of the first and second terminals, a printed circuit board is placed on the connection pin, and at least one integrated circuit is arranged on the printed circuit board on the side facing away from the melting wire.

Protection device including radial lead fuse

Disclosed are various protection devices and associated methods. In some embodiments, a protection device may include a fuse assembly having a fusible link extending between a first lead end and a second lead end, and a first lead extending from the first lead end and a second lead extending from the second lead end. The protection device may further include a body including a first section coupleable with a second section, wherein the first and second sections define a central cavity housing the fusible link. The first section may include an interior face operable to engage an opposite interior face of the second section, an engagement member extending away from the interior face towards the second section, and an engagement channel adjacent the engagement member, the engagement channel operable to receive a corresponding engagement member of the second section.

Fuse Holding Element Configured to Releasibly Cooperate with a Conducting Bar

A fuse holding element includes a pair of holding branches facing each other and extending substantially parallel to a central plane of the fuse holding element and a linking part on which the holding branches are attached. The holding branches define a receiving location for a conducting end of a cylindrical fuse. The linking part has a fastener releasably cooperating with a complementary part of a conducting bar.

An attachment structure includes a housing and a plate-shaped cover attached to the housing. The cover has a locking portion to fix the cover to the housing. The housing has a locked portion engaged with the locking portion to regulate a movement of the cover in a direction separating from the housing. The attachment structure is configured to engage the locking portion and the locked portion at an engagement place while the cover and the housing are pressed each other in directions separating from each other at a pressing place distant from the engagement place, and to form a space between the cover and the housing in a region between the pressing place and the engagement place, when the cover is attached to the housing.

Fuse holder with busbar clamp

A fuse holder that includes a housing, which has a rotating fuse carrier that rotates about a pivot point between open and closed positions. The fuse carrier is configured to accept insertion of a fuse when in the open position, and configured to bring the fuse into electrical contact with a first and a second fuse clip when in the closed position. Additionally, the fuse carrier, when in the closed position, is further configured to orient the fuse so that the fuse is positioned more vertically than horizontally. In particular embodiments of the invention, the fuse carrier rotates about a pivot located in the housing.

HIGH VOLTAGE LAMINATED POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WITH INTEGRATED FUSES

A high voltage distribution system is provided with multiple fuses. The high voltage distribution system includes multiple laminated busbars that are electrically coupled to a battery and to the multiple fuses. Busbars are electrically coupled to the one or more fuses via electrical connections between the busbars and the fuses. The electrical connections can pass through other busbars without having an electrical coupling to the other busbars. An insulating layer may be used between the busbars to prevent overcurrent events. The configuration, size, and position of each busbar is selected based on the electrical requirements of components that are electrically coupled to the busbar and based on the prevention of overcurrent events.

Charging inlet

A charging inlet includes an accommodation box and an inlet body to which the accommodation box is attached from a rear side. The accommodation box includes multiple terminals, an accommodation box body separately accommodating the terminals, multiple fuses, a fuse box integrated with the accommodation box body and separately accommodating the fuses, and multiple bus bars respectively electrically connecting the terminals to the fuses. The accommodation box body has a circular columnar shape and extends in a front-rear direction. The accommodation box includes multiple body receptacles that are open in a front end surface of the accommodation box to separately accommodate the terminals. The terminals accommodated in the body receptacles project from a front end surface of the accommodation box body. The bus bars are embedded into the accommodation box.

Junction connector assembly integrated with fuse

A junction connector assembly integrated with a fuse may include an inner housing having a 1-1-th bus bar, a 1-2-th bus bar, and a second bus bar disposed therein to be spaced apart from one another and a first opening portion formed on one side surface to protrude first terminal portions of the 1-1-th bus bar and the 1-2-th bus bar; and a fuse configured to electrically connect the 1-1-th bus bar and the 1-2-th bus bar to each other, the fuse being inserted and fixed into the first opening portion.

Single bolt fuse assembly with an electrically isolated bolt

A single bolt fuse assembly and method to connect a single bolt fuse to a circuit or device are disclosed. The single bolt fuse assembly enables the single bolt fuse to be used on any electrical device having a hole suitable for receiving a threaded shaft and connectable to a circuit or device that electrically connects to a female battery or power cable. The apparatus includes a separate high-conductive metal terminal that mates with the stud that mechanically attaches the fuse between the electrical devices. The stud is insulated to avoid becoming part of the electrical circuit and to ensure proper operation of the fuse. By mechanically attaching the stud to the metal terminal, the stud is unlikely to get separated from the fuse.
