SELF-ALIGNING SNOWBOARD BINDING
A self-aligning snowshoe binding is provided that simplifies the process of strapping in to a snowboard. The binding includes a self-aligning buckle that includes two mating clips, and each clip contains a pair of offset magnets. One clip is rigidly attached to a snowboard binding and the other, mating, clip is connected to an ankle or toe strap via a tensioning mechanism. The opposite side of the ankle/toe strap is secured to the binding with an adjustable mechanism. When the two clips are brought proximate each other, the magnets engage to create a loose buckling. When tension is applied to the engaged clips, the clips interlock such that they will remain together as long as tension in the strap is maintained.
SKI BOOT DYNAMIC SUPPORT STRAP
In one example, a ski boot includes a plastic shell, a boot liner partly received within the plastic shell, and the boot liner including a tongue having an upper edge, and a dynamic support strap. The dynamic support strap includes a band connected to the plastic shell, and a restraint element connected to the band, the restraint element including a wall and a lip that together define an undercut area behind the wall, and the undercut area is configured and arranged to receive a portion of the upper edge of the tongue when the restraint element is operably positioned with respect to the tongue.
SNOWBOARD BINDING WITH ADJUSTMENT MEMORY
A binding for snowboard includes a base structure and a heel support pivotally mounted to the base structure for movement between an open position for allowing a user to insert or remove their boot from the binding and a closed position for securing the users boot in the binding. An adjustable foot strap is attached to the base structure and a tensioning system is attached to the heel support and the adjustable foot strap for applying a tensioning force to the adjustable strap when the heel support is moved to the closed position and for releasing the tensioning force from the adjustable foot strap when the seal support is moved to the open position.

Ski boot dynamic support strap
In one example, a ski boot dynamic support strap includes a band configured to be connected to a ski boot, and a restraint element configured to be connected to the band. The restraint element includes a wall having an upper edge, and a lip that is connected to the upper edge of the wall and extends away from the wall. The lip and the wall collectively form an engagement portion that includes an undercut area, and the engagement portion is sized and configured to accommodate a portion of an upper edge of a tongue of a ski boot liner in the undercut area.
BINDING FOR SLIDING BOARD
A binding for a sliding board, the binding including a foot-securing body (1) for securing a foot, and an attachment fixture (10) for attaching the foot-securing body (1) to a sliding board (50), wherein the attachment fixture (10) is composed of a disc body (11) that is fastened to an upper surface of the sliding board (50), a hole section (2) formed in the foot-securing body (1) being non-rotatably fitted onto the disc body (11), and a restricting securing body (12) that links to the disc body (11) via the hole section (2) in the foot-securing body (1) to restrict and secure the foot-securing body (1).
Leverage devices for snow touring boot
Some embodiments disclosed herein provide systems, methods, and apparatus relating to a touring snowboard binding comprising an adjustable lateral leverage device. In some embodiments, the adjustable lateral leverage device may comprise at least one first attachment generally at a top corner of a highback of a touring snowboard boot and at least one second attachment generally at an ankle portion of the binding. The adjustable tensioning element may extend generally diagonally between the at least one first attachment and the at least one second attachment such that when the tension in the adjustable lateral leverage device is increased the lateral support to the boot is increased proportionally and when the tension in the adjustable lateral leverage device is decreased the lateral support to the boot is decreased proportionally. Some embodiments also provide a touring snowboard boot comprising an adjustable leverage device.

Snowshoe
A snowshoe provides a way for outdoor enthusiasts to traverse the backcountry effectively and efficiently. The snowshoe allows the user to glide through the snow like a cross-country ski, but with the minimal footprint of a traditional snowshoe. The snowshoe includes a board and a binding mechanism that secures the user to the board, but allows for a pivoting motion. The pivoting motion allows the user to ascend steep terrain by performing a motion similar to cross-country skiing.
