The following describes an assembly for a ski strap. The assembly comprises a first portion comprising a first outer block, a first inner tab extending from the first outer block, a first retaining mechanism for a strap. The assembly also comprises a second portion comprising a second outer block, a second inner tab extending from the second outer block, and a second retaining mechanism for the strap. A ski strap assembly is also provided that comprises a ski strap and the assembly.

A recreational board carrier. The carrier can include a central portion, at least one longitudinal strap coupled to the central portion and extending therefrom, a coupler disposed at a distal end of the longitudinal strap, the coupler adapted to couple to a first end of a recreational board, a plurality of apertures defined in the longitudinal strap, and at least one carrying strap coupled to the central portion.

An apparatus is provided for enclosing and protecting an article, such as a golf bag with golf clubs. The apparatus comprises a central spine and a plurality of frame members connected to the central spine, including at least one pair of frame members comprising a first frame member comprising a first locking member, and arranged on the central spine in a first orientation, and a second frame member comprising a second locking member, and arranged on the central spine in a second orientation. The first locking member of the first frame member is configured to be attached to the second frame member and the second locking member of the second frame member is configured to be attached to the first frame member, such that the first frame member is configured to engage the second frame member around the article.

A ski carrier apparatus for manually carrying skis, the ski carrier apparatus includes a flexible bracket to hold skis together in the form of a C shaped channel including a planar base portion having a first end portion and an opposing second end portion, a first leg and a second leg that each extend in a same direction and parallel to one another, the first and second legs each terminate in a respective first and second hook sections. The ski carrier apparatus further includes a strap having a first strap end and a second strap end that are removably engageable to a cord, wherein the strap is looped around an upper torso of a user and the cord looped around a ski toe binding assembly to suspend the skis above the ground allowing the user to carry the skis via walking in a handsfree manner.

An apparatus and a method for carrying skis are disclosed. The skis are encircled with a strap to form a bundle. The bundle is releasably attached to a belt or bandolier worn by a person. The strap carries an engagement member, and the belt or bandolier carrying a holder with which the engagement member is adapted releasably to engage.

A sports gear carrying assembly includes a front plate that is worn on a user's back. The front plate has a plurality of front plate apertures extending therethrough. A back plate is coupled to the front plate and winter sports gear is positioned on the back plate. The back plate has a plurality of back plate apertures extending therethrough. An extension unit is slidably positioned between each of the front and back plates and the extension unit is laterally extendable a selected distance away from the front and back plates for accommodating a variety of widths of winter sports gear. A plurality of belts is each extended through a selected pair of the front and back plate apertures for securing the winter sports gear on the back plate. Each of the belts is matable to themselves to form a closed loop. A harness is coupled to the front plate and the harness is worn over the user's shoulders thereby facilitating the winter sports gear to be carried on the user's back.

A ski tote is formed with a short strap having a snap clasp fastened to respective ends thereof. A long strap is fastened to the short strap just inside of the clasp parts. The short strap can be placed about a pair of skis and locked there with the clasp. The long strap can be used for carrying the skis.

A novel security tether includes an intermediate flexible substrate, a first loop, and a second loop. The first loop is fixed to a first end of the intermediate flexible substrate and is switchable between a closed position and an open position. The first loop further includes a lock to retain the first loop in the closed position when engaged. The second loop is a fixed, closed loop that is coupled to a second end of the intermediate flexible substrate and is configured to allow the first loop to pass therethrough to create a secondary loop to encircle an anchor object. The first loop can be closed around an object to be secured, thereby securing the object to be secured to the anchor object when the lock is engaged. The security tether is conveniently portable and particularly useful for securing skis to an anchor object.

A ski tote is formed with a short strap having a snap clasp fastened to respective ends thereof. A long strap is fastened to the short strap just inside of the clasp parts. The short strap can be placed about a pair of skis and locked there with the clasp. The long strap can be used for carrying the skis.

A strap for releasably retaining one or more articles. The strap includes a flexible elongate body and a buckle coupled to the first end. The body has a first region adjacent a first end of the body, a second region adjacent a second end of the body, and a central region positioned between the first and second regions. The central region of the body defines a plurality of spaced apart fastening holes. The first region defines a strap opening for receiving the second end of the strap and releasably engaging a portion of the body. The buckle includes a frame including a proximal region coupled to the first end of the body, a distal region, and first and second side regions between the proximal and distal region. The second side region includes a gateway for releasably receiving any region of the body.
