Apparatus and systems are provided that enhance the use of a one wheel skateboard. Some of the apparatus described provide lateral surfaces that engage outer portions of a user's feet. Other apparatus facilitate the engagement of common snowboard bindings to a one wheel skateboard, thereby widening the spectrum of tricks that can be performed.

The invention discloses a torque strengthening device for land surfboard adapters, comprising an upper connecting plate and a lower connecting plate, wherein a number of tension springs are connected between the upper connecting plate and the lower connecting plate; the upper connecting plate and the lower connecting plate are provided with the same number of evenly arranged spring connecting blocks on the side facing the tension springs; the number of the tension springs is twice the number of the spring connecting blocks on the upper connecting plate, and each of the spring connecting blocks is provided with two spring connecting holes; the spring connecting blocks of the upper connecting plate and the spring connecting blocks on the lower connecting plate are alternately arranged. The invention can replace tension springs with different torques to obtain different surfing feelings.

An apparatus for receiving one or more activity attachments including a deck having one or more openings along a long axis of the deck and between the top surface and the bottom surface of the deck. Each of the one or more openings having a circular aperture for receiving an accessory of a set of accessories. Each accessory of the set of accessories providing an activity for a user of the activity. Each accessory having an attachment platform configured to attach the accessory to the board. The attachment platform having a locking mechanism to engaging with a complementary locking mechanism of the board.

A multi-wheel truck that minimizes wheel interactions with discontinuous and uneven surfaces. The truck provides a suspension system that absorbs impact force caused by uneven surfaces and a unique attack angle that allows obstacles to be traversed when approached from a wide range of angles.

The detachable skateboard assembly includes a base part configured for detachable attachment to a board and an upper part configured for detachable attachment to the base part. The upper part is coupled to the base part in such a way that they can pivot relative to each other about a first pivoting axis. The detachable skateboard assembly further includes a wheel unit configured for attachment to the upper part and an elastomeric element arranged between the base part and the upper part such that the elastomeric element is compressed by the pivoting movement between the upper part and the base part. The elastomer element exerts a force tending to make the upper part and base part to recover a neutral position corresponding to the rectilinear displacement of the skateboard.

A skateboard truck includes a metal bolt called a kingpin and a threaded fastener, called a hex nut, which when combined hold the two main components of a truck together: the baseplate, which is mounted to the bottom surface of the skateboard deck; and the turning part of the truck called the hanger, which is mounted onto the baseplate by means of the kingpin, and affixed tightly into the baseplate by means of a threaded hex nut. Two bushings placed along the shaft of the kingpin and on either side of a flange protruding from the hanger hold the hanger in place by the tightening of the kingpin into the threaded shaft nut fastener. The kingpin is oriented such that a threaded portion of the kingpin (on an end opposite a bolt head portion) is generally facing towards a bottom surface of the skateboard deck.

A personal transport includes a deck configured for supporting a rider in a standing position. At least one wheel assembly is mounted on a bottom surface of the deck, the, or each, wheel assembly having at least one wheel so that the deck can travel over a substrate. An operator handle is substantially rigidly mounted on a rear end of the deck and extends rearwardly from the deck so that an operator, standing on the substrate, can grasp the operator handle and push the apparatus along the substrate, or tilt the apparatus relative to the substrate, while the rider is supported on the deck. A rider handle mounted on one of the deck and the operator handle and positioned so that the rider can grasp the rider handle for balance while supported by the deck.

A scooter with a footboard providing a contact surface for a user of the scooter, with a front axle including a first front wheel and a second front wheel and a rear axle comprising a first rear wheel and a second rear wheel, and with a steering column for steering at least the front wheels. Inclination of the footboard about a roll axis of the footboard effects a steering angle of the two front wheels in a first direction and, at the same time, a steering angle of the two rear wheels in a second direction opposite the first direction. A truck includes a base plate, a hanger, a kingpin, and a bushing assembly. The base plate includes a coupling portion and a contact portion. The kingpin is disposed within a portion of the hanger to rotatably couple the hanger to the base plate. The bushing assembly includes at least one bushing disposed in a recess of the contact portion and in contact with the hanger. The bushing assembly including a bushing adjustment coupled to at least one of the base plate or the hanger and configured to selectively engage the at least one bushing to transition the bushing assembly between a first configuration in which the at least one bushing exerts a first force in response to rotation of the hanger and a second configuration in which the at least one bushing exerts a second force different from the first force in response to rotation of the hanger.

A stowable motorized skateboard comprising a first board section, a second board section, a power supply section, and support bars. The first board section includes a locking mechanism and first support anchors. The second board section includes a controller, a motor, second support anchors, and power supply anchors. The power supply section is between the first and second board sections, encasing a battery electrically coupled to the controller and the motor, and including a catch receiving the locking mechanism. The power supply section further receives the power supply anchors. The support bars extend from the first board section to the second board section and receive the first support anchors and the second support anchors.
