POWERED WHEELED BOARD
Various powered wheeled board vehicles are disclosed. In some embodiments, the vehicle includes a deck having a forward portion and a rearward portion. At least one front wheel can be connected with the deck under the forward portion. The front wheel can be configured to swivel about a first axis and rotate about a second axis. A powered wheel can be connected with the rearward portion. In some configurations, the rear wheel comprises a hub motor.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES
When an electric vehicle is traveling downhill, experiencing regenerative braking, or otherwise forcing the vehicle motor to turn faster than the commanded motor torque, the vehicle motor produces electrical energy that can be used to recharge a vehicle battery. However, if the vehicle battery is already nearly or fully charged, the excess electrical energy produced may damage the battery. Control systems described herein may reduce and/or dispose of the excess energy by manipulating the motor flux (i.e., direct) current and quadrature current independently.
Pitch-propelled vehicle
A method, system and apparatus for carrying a user including a board for supporting the user, a ground-contacting member coupled with the board, a motorized drive assembly coupled with the ground-contacting member and one or more sensors coupled with the drive assembly. In operation, the drive assembly adjusts the velocity of the ground-contacting member based on one or more distances of the board from a surface below the board as detected by the sensors. As a result, the system is able to maintain a desired velocity when ascending, descending or traversing uneven ground without the need for excessive and sometimes impossible tilting of the board.
Vehicle rider detection using strain gauges
An electric vehicle may include a board having two deck portions each configured to receive a foot of a rider, and a wheel assembly disposed between the deck portions. A motor assembly may drive the wheel assembly in response to board orientation and rider presence information. A rider detection mechanism may include one or more strain gauges, and may be configured to detect rider presence and rider weight information. A responsiveness of the motor may be automatically adjusted based on the rider weight information.
Electric vehicle hub
A wheel hub configured to be used with an electric vehicle. The wheel hub includes a hollow cylindrical body, a direct drive motor, a hollow axle, a battery, and a tire. The hollow cylindrical body includes a first end surface and a second end surface that is axially opposite and spaced apart from the first end surface. The direct drive motor is disposed within the hollow cylindrical body and is configured to rotate the cylindrical body about a central axis of the motor. The hollow axle has a central axis that is coaxial with the motor central axis and is at least partially disposed within the cylindrical body. The battery is disposed within the hollow cylindrical body and is in electrical communication with the direct drive motor. The tire is fixedly coupled and disposed on an external surface of the hollow cylindrical body.
CASTER BOARDS WITH REMOVABLE INSERT
A caster board can include a front platform, a rear platform, and at least two neck sections extending between the front platform and the rear platform. The neck sections can serve as a torsion element allowing twisting of the front platform relative to the rear platform. An aperture between the neck sections can be configured to receive an insert. The insert can alter a structural characteristic of the caster board, such as the torsional stiffness of the caster board.
Modular Activity Board
An apparatus for receiving one or more activity attachments including a deck having one or more openings along a long axis of the deck and between the top surface and the bottom surface of the deck. Each of the one or more openings having a circular aperture for receiving an accessory of a set of accessories. Each accessory of the set of accessories providing an activity for a user of the activity. Each accessory having an attachment platform configured to attach the accessory to the board. The attachment platform having a locking mechanism to engaging with a complementary locking mechanism of the board.

However, if the vehicle battery is already nearly or fully charged, the excess electrical energy produced may damage the battery. SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AN ATTACHMENT FOR A TRANSPORTATION DEVICE
Examples of the present disclosure are related to systems and methods for an attachment for a stroller, walker, wheelchair, ambulation device, or other transportation device. More particularly, embodiments relate to a wheeled board that is configured to be coupled to an axle and a support of the transportation device, wherein a lower clamp connected to the axle is positioned orthogonal to an upper clamp coupled to the support of the transportation device.
IMPROVED SKATEBOARD-TYPE VEHICLE
The invention relates to a skateboard-type vehicle (1) comprising a platform (2) to which a front wheel (9) support assembly (8) is connected, the front wheel being mounted so as to pivot about a pivot axis (C-C) which is inclined with respect to a mean plane (P2) of the ground (S), the projection of said pivot axis in a plane (P3) orthogonal to the mean plane of the ground forming, with the latter, a forwardly open angle (a) of between 65? and 85?, the front wheel being in contact with the mean plane of the ground at a contact point (17) offset towards the rear by a distance (d) of between 60 mm and 150 mm with respect to a point (18) of intersection of the pivot axis with the mean plane of the ground.
