X-ray tube assembly and X-ray CT equipment
A lightweight X-ray tube assembly and X-ray CT equipment having the same. The X-ray tube assembly includes an X-ray tube and a tube housing. The X-ray tube includes: a cathode for generating an electron beam; an anode for radiating X rays by collision of the electron beam; an envelope for holding the cathode and the anode in a vacuum atmosphere; and an X-ray window provided in the envelope to irradiate some of X rays radiated from the anode toward a test subject. The tube housing encapsulates the X-ray tube together with an insulating oil. The X-ray tube assembly further includes a protective member that is provided at least around the X-ray window on an outer wall of the envelope and shields the X rays.
X-RAY CATHODE SHIELD
Various systems are provided for a cathode of an X-ray imaging system. In one example, a shield assembly for a cathode comprises a first shield part and a second shield part, the first shield part and the second shield part spaced apart such that the first shield part and the second shield part are not in direct physical contact.

X-ray tube, X-ray generator, and method for producing window member
An X-ray tube includes a housing, an electron gun that emits an electron beam inside the housing, a target that generates an X-ray upon an incidence of the electron beam inside the housing, and a window member that seals an opening of the housing and that transmits the X-ray. The window member is formed in a plate shape from a single crystal diamond. A [100] direction of the single crystal diamond is in an intersection relationship with a thickness direction of the window member at an angle of less than 45 degrees.

Wagon wheel shaped x-ray window support structure
An x-ray window 60 or 70 can include a thin film 61 sealed to a support structure 10. The support structure 10 can include an outer ring 11 encircling an outer ring aperture 15, an inner ring 12 encircling an inner aperture, and multiple spokes 13. The inner ring 12 can be located in the outer ring aperture 15. The inner ring 12 can be attached to the outer ring 11 by the multiple spokes 13. The support structure 10 shapes can optimize strength and percent open area.
