PROBE ELECTROSPRAY IONIZATION MASS SPECTROMETRY
The probe drive unit (21) collects a sample (8) at the tip of the probe (6) by lowering and raising the probe (6) under the control of the control unit (25). After that, the high voltage generating unit (20) applies a high voltage whose voltage value increases in a slope shape to the probe (6), and meanwhile, the mass spectrometry unit behind the capillary tube (10) performs product ion scan measurements on the two-step probe voltage, and the mass spectrum data obtained in each measurement is stored in the first and the second probe voltage corresponding data storage units (301 and 302). When the ionization efficiencies of the plurality of types of components contained in the sample (8) have a probe voltage dependence, ion peaks derived from different types of components appear in the two mass spectra. Thus, a plurality of types of components contained in the sample can be roughly separated, and the identification performance based on the mass spectrum and the quantitative performance based on the chromatogram can be improved.
SAMPLE SUPPORTING BODY, METHOD FOR IONIZING SAMPLE, AND MASS SPECTROMETRY METHOD

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ENHANCING SIGNAL INTENSITY OF RADIO FREQUENCY GLOW DISCHARGE MASS SPECTROMETRY
Regarding the problem of low signal intensity during material analysis using existing radio frequency glow discharge mass spectrometry, an apparatus and method for enhancing signal intensity of radio frequency glow discharge mass spectrometry are provided, so as to enhance the signal intensity during inorganic material analysis using a radio frequency glow discharge mass spectrometer. The apparatus comprises a sample introduction cell having a sample introduction rod and having a sample fixed thereon, and an array magnet enhancement portion having a housing shell and magnets arranged in an array. The array magnet enhancement portion is fixed between the sample introduction rod in the sample introduction cell and the sample and is tightly attached to the sample.
SPECTROMETRIC ANALYSIS
A method of spectrometric analysis comprises obtaining one or more sample spectra for an aerosol, smoke or vapour sample. The one or more sample spectra are subjected to pre-processing and then multivariate and/or library based analysis so as to classify the aerosol, smoke or vapour sample. The results of the analysis are used for various surgical or non-surgical applications.
RAPID ONLINE ANALYZER FOR 14C-AMS
A rapid online analyzer for a .sup.14C-AMS, comprising: a solid sample processing module, an atmospheric sample collection and processing module, a microflow control module, an AMS module and an automatic control module. Sample preparation and AMS measurement are combined, a solid sample is directly converted into CO.sub.2 gas by an element analyzer and then enters an AMS for measurement, and an atmospheric sample is collected in real time for analysis by the AMS, such that quick and efficient analysis of the solid sample and the atmospheric sample is realized.
Laser ablation cell
A laser ablation cell (1) comprises a flow channel (11) having an essentially constant cross-sectional area so as to ensure a strictly laminar flow in the flow channel. A sample chamber (21) is provided adjacent to a lateral opening (14) of the flow channel. A laser beam (41) enters the sample chamber (21) through a lateral window (16) and impinges on a surface (24) of a sample (23) to ablate material from the sample. The sample may be positioned in such a distance from the flow channel that the laser-generated aerosol mass distribution has its center within the flow channel. This leads to short aerosol washout times. The laser ablation cell is particularly well suited for aerosol generation in inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICPMS), including imaging applications.
MINIMALLY INVASIVE COLLECTION PROBE AND METHODS FOR THE USE THEREOF
Method and devices are provided for assessing tissue samples from a plurality of tissue sites in a subject using molecular analysis. In certain aspects, devices of the embodiments allow for minimally invasive collection of liquid tissue samples and delivery of the samples for mass spectrometry analysis.
ANALYSIS METHOD FOR DETERMINING HALOGENS IN GEOLOGICAL SAMPLES BY ICP-MS
The present invention provides an analysis method for determining halogens in geological samples by ICP-MS. The method includes following steps: weighing a geological sample and ammonium bifluoride in a sample dissolving tank, tightening the sample dissolving tank, and shaking; then heating the sample dissolving tank in a drying oven, and setting a temperature of the drying oven as 200-220 C. and heating time as 1-2 hours; cooling the sample dissolving tank to room temperature so as to obtain a solid mixture after heating is ended, adding ammonium hydroxide into the solid mixture, centrifuging, removing a precipitate, and collecting the supernatant; adding an internal standard solution into the supernatant, and uniformly mixing; and optimizing the ICP-MS to an optimal state, testing content of chlorine in the supernatant under a condition of medium resolution m/m=4000, and testing content of bromine and iodine in the supernatant under a condition of low resolution m/m=300.
