Grid-based gaming system, method and device operable to generate base benefits and bonus benefits
A gaming system, device and method are disclosed herein. The system, in an embodiment, involves a play area having a plurality of grid columns intersected by a plurality of grid rows. Each of grid columns intersects with one of the grid rows at a location within a grid space. The system also involves a base row, base column, bonus row and bonus column, each of which is located outside of the play area. Based on base triggering signals and bonus triggering signals, the system is operable to generate or output base benefits and bonus benefits.
DISPOSAL BOX FOR USED PLAYING CARDS
A disposal box for used playing cards has a cuboid shape provided with six surfaces, namely, front and back surfaces, left and right surfaces, and upper and lower surfaces in an assembled state. The disposal box includes a slit that is provided in at least one of the six surfaces and enables the used playing cards to be inserted into the disposal box. The disposal box further includes viewing windows that are provided with a plurality of holes having a size at which the playing card cannot be taken out, and can allow the used playing cards contained in the disposal box to be visually recognized. The disposal box is formed of a paper or plastic material, and can be discarded in a state in which the used playing cards are contained in the disposal box.
WHEEL BONUS SYSTEM FOR GAMES
A bonus providing element distinct from an underlying game enables bonus awards to players at two or more player positions of the underlying game based upon receipt of a predetermined triggering outcome in the underlying game by the bonus providing element providing an indication of at least three individual random indicators, such as: a) a first random indicator configured to provide an identification of a first award to be awarded to qualifying players of the players of the underlying game; b) a second random indicator configured to provide an identification of a single one of the two or more player positions; and c) a third random indicator configured to provide an identification of a second award to be awarded to the player at the single one of the two or more player positions indicated by the second random indictor.
GAME TOKEN TRAY, TABLE GAME MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, GAME TOKEN TRAY SYSTEM, AND GAME TOKEN MANAGEMENT METHOD
A game token tray system includes a game token tray having a dual tray structure in which a game token is stored. The game token tray system includes a double tray including a lower tray and an upper tray stacked on the lower tray to store a game token provided with an RF tag in which tag information is stored, a camera that acquires tray image data by imaging the game token stored in the upper tray, an RIFD reading device that reads the tag information from the RF tag of the game token stored in the lower tray, and a game recording device that records the tray image data and/or an image analysis result of the tray image data about the game token stored in the upper tray and records the tag information read by the RFID reading device about the game token stored in the upper tray.
TABLE GAME MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, GAME TOKEN, AND INSPECTION APPARATUS
A table game management system according to the present invention includes a camera that images a game token placed on a game table, and a management control device that grasps a type of the game token placed on the game table based on a color of a side face of the game token imaged by the camera.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ADMINISTERING SHARED OUTCOME GAMES WITH PROGRESSIVE SIDE FEATURES
A system including a gaming table with multiple player positions, a shoe containing a shuffled set of cards, a layout positioned on the gaming table and marked with indicia to indicate the player positions, and a game controller. A card sensor of the shoe generates rank data indicating an identified rank of each card drawn from the shoe. Each player position is marked with a unique identifier matching a rank of a subset of the cards. The game controller receives the rank data for a set of four drawn cards from the shoe and, in response to determining that at least two of the four drawn cards have a rank that is equal to the unique identifier of one player position and that a secondary wager has been registered for that unique identifier, provides a visual indication of a payout to a player at the player position.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A TABLE GAME USING A SPECIAL DECK OF CARDS AND A CONVENTIONAL DECK OF CARDS
Embodiments provide for card games such as blackjack that allow at least one card to be dealt from a special deck (e.g., a restricted deck) into a hand, while the remainder of the cards for that hand (and, in some embodiments, other hands involved in the game event) are dealt from a main/conventional deck. In accordance with some embodiments, the at least one card dealt from the special deck is dealt into a hand of the player while in other embodiments it is dealt into the hand of a dealer and/or an opponent player. A special deck may be a deck that includes cards configured to provide an advantage to the player (e.g., in a blackjack game, restricted deck may only include high value cards if being used for a player hand or only low value cards if being used for a dealer hand).
Automatic jackpot detection
There is described a gaming apparatus for providing an auxiliary jackpot game to a live casino table in which players may place gaming chips anywhere in a betting zone defined on the gaming table surface to signify entry in the auxiliary jackpot game. The gaming apparatus includes sensors to detect the positions of gaming chips placed in the betting zone, memory means to record the physical positions of the detected betting chips, random number generating apparatus, and processor means operable to select, on the basis of a generated random number, which of the detected positions is occupied by the winning bet. Optionally, the gaming apparatus further includes determining means for determining, on the basis of a generated random number, whether or not a jackpot payout is to be made, and the processor means is operated to select a winning bet position only when the determining means determines that a payout is to be made.
TOKEN SORTING APPARATUS
A token sorting apparatus is provided, the apparatus arranged to supplement a game using gaming tokens, the game having a plurality of stages, the sorting apparatus comprising: an entry aperture arranged to accept gaining tokens; a sorting mechanism arranged to sort gaming tokens according to a predetermined characteristic of the gaming tokens; a displacement member arranged to urge gaming tokens accepted by the entry aperture to the sorting mechanism; a camera arranged to obtain an image of the sorting mechanism and the displacement member; a display member in digital communication with the camera, the display member arranged to display the image to a user; and a signalling member arranged to provide a signal to the user, the signal being arranged to indicate a stage of the game or a status of the game. The invention aims to provide a readily available prompt to a user of a token sorting apparatus in order to maintain awareness of stages of play of the game and to optimise user performance.
