A three-dimensional alignment board game includes four aligned, spaced vertical levels of playing boards. Each level includes a grid forming a 55 planar matrix defining twenty-five placement areas for a total of one-hundred placement areas. At least two sets of playing pieces are distinguishable from each other and assigned to players of the game. Each piece can be placed and rest upon any of the one-hundred placement areas. A scorekeeping system keeps score by tracking points of the players. The game is completed when a player is first to accumulate a predetermined total number of points. Disclosed is a set of a plurality dice useful for playing a spelling game among multiple players and an exemplary method of playing the game. The plurality of dice is assembleable to form a dice block attractive for packaging. Typically, all of the dice are cube shaped and of the same dimensions. Each die of the set has each of its faces labeled with a character set consisting of one or more letters of the alphabet. The manner of play can be varied by altering the total number of individual dice in the dice set used for play, for example from 125 dice to 100 dice, by adding or removing dice specifically color-coded for that purpose. Thus the manner of play can be adjusted to alter the difficulty of play or the total time of play.

A successful connection is made and points scored when the key of one brick is connected to a slot of a second brick or vice versa. The game may be played horizontally at a beginner's level and for the more advanced player, in three-dimensional space not limited to merely stacking bricks flat but in numerous three dimensional connections and orientations. Each brick is played with the goal of making the most key to slot connections in a single move.

A three-dimensional chess apparatus comprising a cube-shaped board with extended walls along certain edges. The cube features a 44 checkerboard pattern on each face. Walls extend from edges where adjacent squares are the same color, acting as gameplay barriers and providing ground clearance for pieces on the bottom face. Chess pieces are designed to be shorter than these walls, allowing for stable placement and movement. The game includes Frontier and Crossroads variants affecting pawn movement, and a Revolution variant allowing rotation of cube sections. The apparatus introduces new strategic elements through modified piece movement rules and three-dimensional play. A novel three-digit notation system, with the first digit representing the cube face, enables precise recording of piece positions, accommodating the 3D nature of the game board.
