COMPONENTS FOR ARTICLES OF FOOTWEAR INCLUDING LIGHTWEIGHT, SELECTIVELY SUPPORTED TEXTILE COMPONENTS
20180125166 · 2018-05-10 ·

Footwear components are made from lightweight textile structures (e.g., including circular knitted structures made from natural or synthetic fibers, such as socks or sock-type structures). The textile structures are selectively supported at various areas to provide desired local characteristics. Additional aspects relate to methods of making such components, precursors to such components, and articles of footwear containing such components.

It is also a decorative ornament which can be placed around the instep location of a boot or elongated footwear where the decorative ornament can be removably affixed around the instep location of the footwear and has decorative ornaments dangling from the present invention to enable them to be visible on the boot.

Footwear and foot support member configured to allow relative heel/forefoot motion
09936759 · 2018-04-10 · ·

A shoe can include support members for a plantar surface of a foot that include: (a) a heel support plate; (b) a forefoot support plate; (c) a heel securing strap component for securely engaging a heel supporting component with a wearer's heel; and (d) a unidirectional hinge, wherein the hinge allows the heel support plate to rotate internally with respect to the forefoot support plate and limit the heel support plate from rotating externally with respect to the forefoot support plate. The support member allows the shoe to twist and move with the foot, allowing the ankle to remain neutral, rather than the shoe fighting the foot's natural motion. The unidirectional nature of the hinge plate also prevents the shoe from rotating externally beyond a predetermined limit point.

BALANCE FOOTWEAR WITH SHANK

An injection moulded balance footwear comprising an upper and a shoe sole which has an convex bottom profile forming an impact region in a midfoot region MR. The shoe sole comprises an outsole, a midsole connected to the outsole by injection moulding and an embedded shank which is configured to stabilise a wearer's foot. The shank has a U-shaped shank body including a U-bend portion being positioned at a heel region, a first U-leg and a second U-leg extending from the heel region through the midfoot region into a forefoot region. The shank has a bridge portion at the midfoot region which interconnects the first and second U-leg. The shank is improved in that the bridge portion protrudes below the U-shaped shank body.

FOOTWEAR INCORPORATING ANGLED TENSILE STRAND ELEMENTS
20180064213 · 2018-03-08 · ·

An article of footwear may include various first strands and second strands. The cutting and second strands may extend from an area proximal to lace-receiving elements to an area proximal to the sole structure. The first strands may have a substantially vertical orientation and the second strands may have a rearwardly-angled orientation. The first strands may be located in a midfoot region of the footwear and the second strands may be located in both the midfoot region and a heel region of the footwear. Angles between the first strands and the second strands may be at least 40 degrees. Additionally, the second strands may have at least fifty percent greater tensile strength than the first strands.

HIGH HEEL SHOE
20180027925 · 2018-02-01 ·

There are disclosed high heel shoes where separate components combine to create load balancing internal footwear technology. A two-piece system includes interlocking toe bed and shank constructed of complex three dimensional curved surfaces which create an intricately sculpted volume to provide structural support down the length of the entire foot. The toe bed provides a wide base and keeps the big toe pointed straight (at an approximately 10 angle). A heel maximizes the surface area of the bottom of the heel at the point of strike with the ground while retaining a minimal and aesthetically appealing silhouette from the side view. The toe bed and shank feature a composition of layered materials which when combined work to provide both stability and shock absorption to the ball of the foot during the foot strike of walking. An internal support structure provides a padded barrier and intermediary between the rigidity of the shank and the softness of the shoe upper.
