In the third step, an annular groove is provided in a side part of the case. The first positive electrode pellet includes a tapered part whose outer diameter decreases from the second end face toward the first end face, and in a cross section along the axial direction of the first positive electrode pellet, an inclination angle of the tapered part with respect to an axis of the first positive electrode pellet ranges from 0.26 to 0.87, inclusive. A distance h between the groove and the first end face ranges from 0.55 mm to 2.35 mm, inclusive.
