System and method for solid oxide fuel cells with staged fuel supply
A formed substrate assembly includes an air flow form plate, a fuel flow form plate, and an anode. The fuel flow form plate is positioned over the air flow form plate. The fuel flow form plate partially defines a plurality of first channels. The fuel flow form plate also defines a plurality of second channels. The plurality of second channels defines a plurality of apertures, where a portion of the apertures extend from the plurality of second channels to the plurality of first channels. The anode is positioned over the fuel flow form plate. The anode partially defines the plurality of first channels such that the fuel flow form plate and the anode define the plurality of first channels. The portion of the plurality of apertures is configured to channel a flow of fuel from the plurality of second channels to the plurality of first channels.
Connecting material for solid oxide fuel cell, manufacturing method therefor, and solid oxide fuel cell
The present specification relates to an interconnect for a solid oxide fuel cell, a method for preparing the same, and a solid oxide fuel cell.
CERAMIC MATERIALS
The present invention relates to glass-ceramic/silver composite precursor compositions in the form of powders, and to glass-ceramics/silver composite materials produced therefrom. Such materials find particular use as interconnect materials for high temperature electrochemical conversion devices such as solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) and solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOECs).
Fuel cell stack
A fuel cell stack has a prevention dam formed outside an alignment pin, such that a sealing material, which has viscosity and fluidity at a sealing temperature of a fuel cell, may be prevented from coming into contact with and adhering to the alignment pin, and pressure applied from the outside may be uniformly applied to the fuel cell stack.
Cross-flow interconnect and fuel cell system including same
A cross-flow interconnect and a fuel cell stack including the same, the interconnect including fuel inlets and outlets that extend through the interconnect adjacent to opposing first and second peripheral edges of the interconnect; an air side; and an opposing fuel side. The air side includes an air flow field including air channels that extend in a first direction, from a third peripheral edge of the interconnect to an opposing fourth peripheral edge of the interconnect; and riser seal surfaces disposed on two opposing sides of the air flow field and in which the fuel inlets and outlets are formed. The fuel side includes a fuel flow field including fuel channels that extend in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction, between the fuel inlets and outlets; and a perimeter seal surface surrounding the fuel flow field and the fuel inlets and outlets.

Fuel cell module
A fuel cell module includes fuel cells, a gas supply system, a first accumulator, a second accumulator, and power connection. The fuel cells are arranged in a cell stack having a first axial end and a second axial end. The gas supply system is configured to supply gas for the operation of the fuel cells, the fuel cells being stacked in an axial direction. The first accumulator is arranged at the first axial end of the cell stack. The second accumulator is arranged at the second axial end of the cell stack. The power connection is electrically conductively connected to the second accumulator, and is arranged at the gas supply system. The cell stack is arranged within an insulation sheath and the gas supply system is arranged partly outside the insulation sheath and the power connection is arranged outside the insulation sheath.
