A pouch-type secondary battery includes an electrode assembly including a first electrode plate, a separator, and a second electrode plate; and a pouch film in which the electrode assembly is accommodated, wherein the pouch film includes a first side sealing portion from which a negative electrode lead connected to the electrode assembly protrudes, a second side sealing portion from which a positive electrode lead connected to the electrode assembly protrudes, and an upper sealing portion having both end portions connected to the first and second side sealing portions, and the pouch film includes a folded portion disposed on an end of the first side sealing portion and an end of the second side sealing portion, and folded toward a bottom portion of the pouch film, wherein the folded portion is folded in one direction.

Power storage module

An electricity-storage module includes an electrode stacked body and a sealing body. A negative terminal electrode is disposed at one end of the electrode stacked body in a stacking direction such that a second surface is an inner side of the electrode stacked body. The sealing body includes first resin portions 21 which are joined to edge portions, and a second resin portion that is joined to the first resin portions 21 so as to surround the first resin portions from an outer side.

Power storage module

An electricity-storage module includes an electrode stacked body and a sealing body. A negative terminal electrode is disposed at one end of the electrode stacked body in a stacking direction such that a second surface is an inner side of the electrode stacked body. The sealing body includes first resin portions 21 which are joined to edge portions, and a second resin portion that is joined to the first resin portions 21 so as to surround the first resin portions from an outer side.

Sealed battery

A sealed battery, which is an exemplary embodiment, comprises a battery case including a bottomed cylindrical outer can and a sealing body that closes an opening of the outer can, a gasket disposed between the outer can and the sealing body, and an electrode body including an electrode and housed in the battery case. The sealing body includes a metal plate, and the metal plate has a thin portion formed in an annular shape, a valve portion having a convex shape inside the battery case, and an annular portion to which the electrode lead is connected. The gasket is provided with an elastically deformable portion that abuts against the inner surface of the valve portion and urges the valve portion to the outside of the battery case.

Sealed battery

A sealed battery, which is an exemplary embodiment, comprises a battery case including a bottomed cylindrical outer can and a sealing body that closes an opening of the outer can, a gasket disposed between the outer can and the sealing body, and an electrode body including an electrode and housed in the battery case. The sealing body includes a metal plate, and the metal plate has a thin portion formed in an annular shape, a valve portion having a convex shape inside the battery case, and an annular portion to which the electrode lead is connected. The gasket is provided with an elastically deformable portion that abuts against the inner surface of the valve portion and urges the valve portion to the outside of the battery case.

Secondary Battery and Method for Manufacturing the Same

A secondary battery according to the present invention comprises a pouch comprising an accommodation part accommodate the electrode assembly, a gas pocket part collecting a gas generated in the accommodation part, an edge sealing part provided along each of edge surfaces of the accommodation part and the gas pocket part, and a corner sealing part provided on each of both ends of a boundary between the accommodation part and the gas pocket part to support the electrode assembly accommodated in the accommodation part, wherein the corner sealing part comprises a full-width support surface supporting one end in a full-width direction of the electrode assembly, which faces the gas pocket part, and a full-length support surface provided between the full-width support surface and the edge sealing part, having a width greater than that of the full-width support surface, and supporting one end in a full-length direction of the electrode assembly, which faces the edge sealing part, and the full-length support surface, the full-width support surface, and the edge sealing part are integrally connected to each other.

Secondary Battery and Method for Manufacturing the Same
