A battery module and a battery pack including same, have improved fastening of a cooling plate through the use of the combination of a reinforcement beam and welding in the fastening of the cooling plate, and thus detachment of the cooling plate due to swelling of a battery cell or due to external shocks is effectively prevented.

At least one of the side parts has an elastic region offset from a main extension plane of the side part. The elastic region is adapted to exert a pressing force perpendicular to the electrode surface on the cells.

A battery module for a traction battery of an electric vehicle is described. The battery module has two side parts arranged on opposite sides of the battery module and aligned substantially parallel to an electrode surface of cells of the battery module. An outdoor seismic cabinet assembly includes a base located at an outdoor deployment location and a cabinet for housing electronic equipment coupled to the base. The assembly also includes a first post disposed adjacent to a first sidewall of the cabinet and coupled to the base, a second post disposed adjacent to a second sidewall of the cabinet and coupled to the base, and a cross-member disposed adjacent to a top portion of the cabinet. At least one first bracket is coupled to the first post and to the cross-member and at least one second bracket is coupled to the second post and to the cross-member. Other example outdoor seismic cabinet assemblies and seismic cabinet conversion kits are also disclosed.
Battery module
A battery module includes a secondary battery, a cooler, and a heat conducting member disposed between the secondary battery and the cooler. The secondary battery has at least one electrode body and a case. The case has an opposite wall facing the cooler. The opposite wall has a recessed groove shaped so as to be depressed toward the inside of the case. The heat conducting member fills a space between the opposite wall and the cooler including the inside of the recessed groove.

A battery module including a stack of battery cells, a U-shaped frame that accommodates the stack of battery cells and has an opened upper part, and at least two upper plates covering a part of the stack of battery cells at the opened upper part of the U-shaped frame is provided.
Portable power source
An apparatus for defining an AC power source having a predetermined amperage rating and for use with a pallet truck or fork lift lifting device. The apparatus includes a pair of terminal banks, a battery, a converter adapted to change DC to AC power, a relay, a controller, and a base adapted for engagement by the lifting device for transport of the apparatus. The apparatus is shaped so that it can be transported by the lifting device through a doorway. A pair of terminal banks, battery, converter, relay and controller are coupled to one another and configured for selective operation in a standalone configuration or a stacked configuration.
