POWER STORAGE
A power storage includes a stack made of stacked power storage cells and a casing in which the stack is accommodated. The casing includes a pair of wall portions provided such that the stack lies therebetween in a direction of stack. Each of the pair of wall portions includes a central portion located in a center in a plane direction orthogonal to the direction of stack and an outer peripheral portion located around the central portion. Each of the pair of wall portions is in such a recessed shape that the central portion is closer to the stack than the outer peripheral portion. The stack is sandwiched between the central portions included in the pair of wall portions.
WEARABLE AND REPLACEABLE POUCH OR SKIN FOR HOLDING A PORTABLE BATTERY PACK
A wearable pouch operable to hold at least one portable battery pack and other power or communications equipment. The wearable pouch includes a main body with a front side, a back side opposite the front side, at least one sealable opening, and at least one opening for at least one lead from the at least one portable battery pack secured within the wearable pouch.
Cell-case unit and battery module including the same
A cell case unit includes a cell support member including at least one or more secondary battery cells, at least one seating portion in which the secondary battery cells are accommodated; and a case member covering the secondary battery cells accommodated in the seating portion, having a portion adjacent to both ends of the secondary battery cells to be coupled to the cell support member, and including a stretchable portion configured to be stretched in at least a portion of the case member.
Battery, electronic device, electric vehicle, electrical storage device, electrical storage system and wearable terminal
A battery is provided including a battery cell having main top and bottom surfaces, and a plurality of side surfaces; and at least one resin section including a cured resin that covers at least three of the plurality of side surfaces of the battery cell, but that does not cover substantially all of the top and bottom surfaces of the battery cell.
PACKAGE AND METHOD OF CHARGING SECONDARY BATTERY
A package that includes a carrier sheet having a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, the carrier sheet having a plurality of cavities arranged along the longitudinal direction, each of the plurality of cavities configured to accommodate a secondary battery having a pair of external electrodes or an electronic component including the secondary battery; a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes, a first electrode and a second electrode of the plurality of first electrodes and the plurality of second electrodes are disposed in a respective cavity of the plurality of cavities and configured to charge the secondary battery; a first conductive line in the carrier sheet and electrically connected to the plurality of the first electrodes; and a second conductive line in the carrier sheet and electrically connected to the plurality of the second electrodes.
Portable battery pack comprising a battery enclosed by a wearable and replaceable pouch or skin
A portable battery pack comprising a battery enclosed by a wearable and replaceable pouch or skin is disclosed, wherein the pouch or skin can be provided in different colors and/or patterns. Further, the pouch or skin can be MOLLE-compatible. The battery comprises a battery element housed between a battery cover and a back plate, wherein the battery element, battery cover, and back plate have a slight curvature or contour. Further, the battery comprises flexible leads.
VEHICLE BATTERY COVER
A cover body configured to surround a battery mounted on a vehicle is formed by combining two resin plates. The resin plates include quadrangular body portions and side surfaces formed on both sides of the body portions via hinges. Each of the side surfaces of the resin plates is formed with at least either a connecting piece extending in a vertical direction or a hole portion into which the connecting piece is inserted. The side surfaces of the two resin plates are superposed on each other in a state where the body portions of the two resin plates face each other, and the two resin plates are connected to each other by inserting the connecting piece into the hole portion.
BATTERY MODULE
A battery module provided in a vehicle includes a holder plate. The holder plate includes openings, a first end surface, a second end surface, support portions and a vulnerable portion. The openings are configured such that cells are inserted in the openings respectively. The first end surface is configured to receive a collision load of a collision object to collide from a third direction. The second end surface is placed on an opposite side to the first end surface in the third direction of the holder plate. The holder plate is supported by the support portions so as to define a space between the second end surface and an adjacent member in the third direction. The vulnerable portion is configured to break the holder plate along a boundary between a first battery group and a second battery group when the vulnerable portion receives the collision load.
Strip of electrochemical cells for the production of a battery module for an electric or hybrid vehicle, and method for the production of such a module
The invention relates mainly to a system of electrochemical cells for the production of a battery module for an electric or hybrid vehicle, comprising a stack of flexible electrochemical cells, characterized in that it comprises at least one support strip with at least one electrochemical cell disposed on the surface thereof. According to the invention, the support strip can be cut such that the number of electrochemical cells disposed on the surface is adapted to provide the necessary battery power, and the strip can be folded such as to allow the electrochemical cells to be positioned side by side and stacked on top of one another.
