BALLISTIC RESISTANT CASE FOR RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
A ballistic resistant case for a secondary battery having a rectangular metal case (160) with a panel (160p) connected to the bottom wall and the side walls to divide the internal space of the case into cell pack receiving bays (160b). A bus bar (170) extends from the front wall, across the top of the panel, to the rear wall. A connector (162, 170f, 180a) secures the cover (180) to the panel (160p) with the bus bar (170) sandwiched therebetween. The bus bar (170) reinforces a central portion of the cover (180) and prevents the panel (160p) and the walls from deflecting to provide ballistic protection for the cell packs (24).
BATTERY FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE
The invention relates to an electric battery (1) for a motor vehicle which is electrically or partly electrically driven or a movable or stationary unit, having a battery housing (5) and a plurality of battery cells (2) arranged therein. The aim of the invention is to allow such an electric battery (1) to be produced with minimal costs and technical structural complexity while still having a high degree of operational reliability. This is achieved in that the battery housing (5) is made of an expanded or foamed plastic.
BATTERY MODULE AND BATTERY PACK INCLUDING THE SAME
A battery module includes a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked, a module frame for housing the battery cell stack, and an end plate for covering the front and rear surfaces of the battery cell stack and coupled to the module frame, wherein the end plate is formed of an insulating material.

BATTERY MODULE
A battery module includes: a plurality of battery cells each of which has a flat shape; a plurality of elastic spacers laminated and disposed alternately with the battery cells; and a restraining member configured to restrain the battery cells and the elastic spacers in a laminating direction of the battery cells. Each of the elastic spacers has a sheet portion that extends between two adjacent battery cells and a plurality of protrusions that protrudes from one surface of the sheet portion. The protrusions are disposed at an equal interval along at least a first direction. When an interval between the protrusions in the first direction is x and a dimension of each protrusion in the first direction is y, relationships of 4 mm≤y≤18 mm, y≥4/9x−10/3, and y≤x−2 are satisfied.
