The end cover assembly includes: an end cover plate provided with a degassing hole, where the degassing hole penetrates through the end cover plate; and a degassing apparatus mounted in the degassing hole, where the degassing apparatus includes a columnar portion, a first limiting portion, a second limiting portion, a first elastic member, and a second elastic member. The columnar portion penetrates through the degassing hole. The first limiting portion and the second limiting portion are respectively located on an outer side and an inner side of the end cover plate. The first elastic member is located between the first limiting portion and the end cover plate. The second elastic member is located between the second limiting portion and the end cover plate.

The application provides a battery cell, a manufacturing method and a manufacturing system therefor, a battery and an electric device. The battery cell in one embodiment of the application includes a casing having an opening and provided with a pressure relief mechanism which is actuated to relieve an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell when the internal pressure or temperature reaches a threshold value; an electrode assembly accommodated in the casing, and including a body portion and a tab portion protruding therefrom; and a cover assembly for covering the opening. A first recessed portion is formed on one side, abutting against the body portion and facing the electrode assembly, of the cover assembly. The cover assembly is provided with at least one first channel. The first channel can reduce the gas accumulated between the electrode assembly and the cover assembly, thereby reducing the safety risk.

Discussed is a battery pack including a plurality of battery modules; a venting inducing frame disposed along edges of the plurality of battery modules and forming a venting passage to vent at least one of gas and flame; a venting gate to connect an inside of at least one of the plurality of battery modules and the venting inducing frame; and a quenching member disposed in a passage of the venting gate.

Cell module

A cell module includes a plurality of battery cells each having a safety valve at a first end in a height direction, a first current collector plate including a main body having a through hole that at least partly overlaps the safety valve when viewed along the height direction and a lead extending into the through hole from the main body and being electrically connected to a first terminal of each of the battery cells, an exhaust duct disposed over a surface of the first current collector plate remote from the battery cells, and an insulating film being made of an insulating material and covering an area of the first current collector plate facing the exhaust duct. The safety valve opens when an internal pressure of any of the battery cells reaches or exceeds a predetermined level.
