An electrical apparatus, a battery, a battery cell and an electrode plate assembly are disclosed. The electrode plate assembly includes an electrode plate and an insulating adhesive tape. The electrode plate includes an electrode plate body and a tab. The main surface of the electrode plate body has a first side edge and a second side edge that are spaced apart from each other along a predetermined spacing direction. The tab is integrally formed with the electrode plate body and protrudes from the first side edge in the spacing direction. The insulating adhesive tape is to be adhered and fixed to the main surface of the electrode plate body and to cover the first side edge. The above method can solve the problem of short circuit caused by burrs generated during a tab forming process piercing the separator.

Provided is a battery pack. An insulating protective sheet having the plurality of thin units may be disposed on the vent for discharging gas or relieving pressure accumulated inside each of the plurality of battery cells forming the battery pack. The battery pack may suppress eruption of flames or scattering of high-temperature solids in addition to relief of internal pressure or discharge of internal gas, thereby preventing spread of flames to other neighboring battery cells or chain ignition therebetween.

Secondary battery

A secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a single positive electrode terminal formed in a flat plate shape, a single negative electrode terminal formed in a flat plate shape, a holder holding the single positive and negative electrode terminals, and a laminate exterior body. The single positive and negative electrode terminals each have a single protruding portion protruding from the laminate exterior body in one direction. An insulating plate is arranged between main side surfaces of the single protruding portions of the terminals. On one side of the insulating plate in a facing direction, only the single protruding portion of the positive terminal protrudes from the laminate exterior body, and on the other side of the insulating plate in the facing direction, only the single protruding portion of the negative terminal protrudes from the laminate exterior body.

A secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a single positive electrode terminal formed in a flat plate shape, a single negative electrode terminal formed in a flat plate shape, a holder holding the single positive and negative electrode terminals, and a laminate exterior body. The single positive and negative electrode terminals each have a single protruding portion protruding from the laminate exterior body in one direction. An insulating plate is arranged between main side surfaces of the single protruding portions of the terminals. On one side of the insulating plate in a facing direction, only the single protruding portion of the positive terminal protrudes from the laminate exterior body, and on the other side of the insulating plate in the facing direction, only the single protruding portion of the negative terminal protrudes from the laminate exterior body.

A battery cell includes an electrode assembly and a packaging bag for accommodating the electrode assembly and a first adhesive layer and a second adhesive layer. One end of the first adhesive layer and one end of the second adhesive layer are both adhered to the first surface of the electrode assembly, and the other end of the first adhesive layer and the other end of the second adhesive layer both extend to the bottom of the electrode assembly and are adhered to a second surface opposite the first surface, a surface on which a terminating end of the electrode assembly is defined as the first surface; and a third adhesive layer, one end of the third adhesive layer is adhered to the first adhesive layer, and the other end of the third adhesive layer is adhered to the second adhesive layer.

Battery cell and battery containing such battery cell

A battery cell includes an electrode assembly and a packaging bag for accommodating the electrode assembly and a first adhesive layer and a second adhesive layer. One end of the first adhesive layer and one end of the second adhesive layer are both adhered to the first surface of the electrode assembly, and the other end of the first adhesive layer and the other end of the second adhesive layer both extend to the bottom of the electrode assembly and are adhered to a second surface opposite the first surface, a surface on which a terminating end of the electrode assembly is defined as the first surface; and a third adhesive layer, one end of the third adhesive layer is adhered to the first adhesive layer, and the other end of the third adhesive layer is adhered to the second adhesive layer.
