TEXTURIZED REMOVABLE TAB AND BATTERY ASSEMBLY HAVING THE SAME
A battery assembly includes a battery and a removable tab attached to a surface of the battery. The removable tab includes a main tab layer having a first surface and an oppositely disposed second surface, wherein the main tab layer comprises a battery cell attachment region and a gripping region adjacent to the battery cell attachment region. The removable tab also includes a first layer disposed over the first surface of the main tab layer; and a second layer disposed over a portion of the second surface of the main tab layer only at the gripping region. One or both of the first layer and the second layer is a texturized layer having an average surface roughness of about 0.6 microns to about 2 microns, the texturized layer providing an external face to the removable tab.
Pull tab assemblies for transitionally interrupting an electrical connection with a battery
Pull tab assemblies and related components and methods are disclosed herein. Some pull tab assemblies are configured to selectively interrupt and reestablish connections between a battery and a battery contact of an electronic circuit. Some pull tab assemblies include perforated pull tabs and/or pull tabs in which a proximal portion of the pull tab is configured to be cut or removed. Some pull tabs are designed to remain within a slot of the housing to impede fluid entry into the housing. Some methods disclosed herein involve programming memory that is disposed within a housing of a pull tab assembly or device.
SHEET ATTACHMENT DEVICE FOR BATTERY PACKS
Disclosed herein is a sheet attachment device for battery packs, specifically a sheet attachment device for attaching a label sheet and a sheathing sheet to a battery pack having a plate-shaped battery cell mounted in a pack case. The sheet attachment device includes first and second loaders, first and second jigs, first and second guide frames, a first sheet attachment jig, a rotator, a pressing roller, a conveyor, and a second sheet attachment jig.
Rechargeable battery having label film, method for manufacturing rechargeable battery, and method for manufacturing label film for rechargeable battery
The present invention relates to a rechargeable battery with a label film, a method for manufacturing a rechargeable battery, and a method for manufacturing a label film for a rechargeable battery. Regarding a rechargeable battery with a label film attached to a case, the label film includes a film base, an antenna pattern formed on a first side of the film base, and an information layer formed on a second side of the film base and on which a character including information on the rechargeable battery is written.
Secondary battery with protection circuit module with label and release sheet
Provided is a battery pack, which can be prevented from being released from a label adhered to a frame or a battery cell due to distortion applied to the battery pack, thereby preventing noises from being generated during movement of an adhered surface of the label. A battery pack is also provided, which may prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD). The battery pack includes a battery cell, a protective circuit module (PCM) electrically connected to the battery cell, a frame accommodating the battery cell and the PCM, and a label adhered to the battery cell, the PCM and the frame while surrounding the same. A release sheet is attached to a region of the label surrounding the PCM.
Pull tab with conductive pads
An insulating tab attached to an electronic device driven by a battery includes a first insulating layer, a first wiring that extends in a first direction along the first insulating layer, the first wiring including a first electrode on one end thereof and a second electrode on the other end thereof, and a second wiring that extends in the first direction along the first insulating layer, the second wiring including a third electrode on one end thereof and a fourth electrode on the other end thereof. The first and third electrodes are disposed on opposite sides of the first insulating layer at a first location of the first insulating layer along the first direction.
Method for monitoring a battery pack, battery with a monitoring module and a motor vehicle with a corresponding battery
A method is used for monitoring a battery pack to check claims under guarantee that could possibly be invalid due to incorrect opening of the battery pack. The battery pack includes at least one electrochemical cell. When the battery pack is monitored, whether the battery pack has been opened is detected and any details relating to an event of opening are recorded in a non-erasable storage medium.
POWER STORAGE CELL
The power storage cell includes a cell case, a first two-dimensional identification code, and a second two-dimensional identification code. The cell case is configured to be capable of accommodating an electrode body. The first two-dimensional identification code is provided on an outer surface of the cell case. The first two-dimensional identification code is configured to be able to read the identification information. The second two-dimensional identification code is provided on the outer surface of the cell case spaced apart from the first two-dimensional identification code. The second two-dimensional identification code is configured to be able to read the same identification information as the first two-dimensional identification code. The second two-dimensional identification code is provided at a position where at least a part of the first two-dimensional identification code cannot be visually recognized when the second two-dimensional identification code is viewed from the front.
IDENTIFICATION MARK RECOGNITION DEVICE, IDENTIFICATION MARK RECOGNITION METHOD, AND SECONDARY BATTERY MANUFACTURING METHOD
Disclosed herein is an identification mark recognition device including: an identification mark reader configured to identify an identification mark on an electrode tab of a unit cell or an electrode assembly; an electrode tab pressing unit configured to press the electrode tab to cause a surface of the electrode tab on which the identification mark is marked to be aligned with respect to the identification mark reader; and a controller configured to control the electrode tab pressing unit and the identification mark reader to allow the identification mark reader to identify the identification mark after the pressing of the electrode tab by the electrode tab pressing unit, and the electrode tab pressing unit is arranged to be inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the unit cell or the electrode assembly. Also disclosed is a secondary battery manufacturing method using the identification mark recognition device and method.
