Methods and apparatuses are provided for a matched band pass filter utilized in a duplexer or multiplexer. In one embodiment, the matched band pass filter includes a filter part and a port-matching part that is coupled to and in signal communication with the filter part. The filter part is configured to filter an RF signal and includes an input port. The port-matching part includes an output port. The port-matching part is configured to provide impedance matching through the output port.

A microwave resonator comprising a hollow tube comprising an electrically conductive tube wall which defines a tube bore, the tube extending along a length axis from a first end to a second end; a first electrically conductive closing plate closing the first end of the tube, the first electrically conductive closing plate comprising at least one coupling slot extending therethrough; a second electrically conducting closing plate closing the second end of the tube, the second electrically conductive closing plate comprising at least one coupling slot extending therethrough; a plurality of dielectric resonant pucks, each puck comprising first and second end faces and a side wall extending therebetween, each puck being dimensioned such that when in the tube its dominant mode is a doubly degenerate mode; the pucks being arranged within the tube bore spaced apart from each other and the closing plates, each puck being arranged centered on the length axis and its side wall abutting the tube wall such that there is no air gap between the puck and the tube wall which extends from one end face to the other of the puck, the puck adjacent to the first closing plate being termed the input puck; each puck being separated from the adjacent puck in the tube bore by a coupling gap, each coupling gap having an electrically conductive iris plate arranged therein, each iris plate being arranged normal to the length axis, each iris plate comprising at least one coupling slot extending therethrough; a single mode input microwave resonator adapted to provide a microwave signal to the input puck; each puck comprising a symmetry breaking structure for modifying the frequency of one of the degenerate modes relative to the other and the coupling between the two modes; each puck further comprising a central aperture extending from one end face to the other along the length axis; and, each central aperture comprising at least one electrically conductive insert arranged therein.

A duo-quad wideband wave guide combiner includes a circular waveguide having a center axis with a cross section with four quadrants; and two waveguides, each waveguide being bifurcated at an input to the wave guide combiner by a thin septum to split each of the two waveguide into two bifurcated waveguides, each of the bifurcated waveguides rotating to a respective one of the four quadrants about the center axis of the circular waveguide with converging walls terminating when a composite cross section becomes circular.

An antenna may include a reflector and a multi-band feed assembly. A support member may be coupled to the multi-band feed assembly to orient the multi-band feed assembly for direct illumination of the reflector. The multi-band feed assembly may include first and second feeds, each having a respective septum polarizer coupled between a respective common waveguide and a respective pair of waveguides. A housing of the support member may contain the respective septum polarizers and the respective pairs of waveguides.

The tuning element is mounted for insertion of the elongated pin member into an interior of the resonator. The conductive outer surface includes a contact portion by which the elongated pin member is secured in a desired position to adjust a frequency response of the resonant cavity filter, where the contact portion is free of threading.

WAVEGUIDE CROSS-COUPLING FILTER WITH MULTIPLE PARALLEL CAVITIES
The disclosed radio frequency (RF) bandpass filter may include an RF transmission medium that defines (1) a plurality of cavities aligned parallel to each other along a major axis, where (a) each cavity includes planar surfaces that define (i) a first dimension aligned with the major axis and (ii) second and third dimensions aligned perpendicular to the major axis and each other, where the first dimension is shorter than the second and third dimensions and (b) each adjacent pair of cavities is coupled by an inter-cavity slot, (2) an RF inlet that couples a received RF signal to a first cavity at a first end of the plurality of cavities, and (3) an RF outlet that couples a filtered RF signal from a second cavity at a second end of the plurality of cavities externally to the filter. Various other filters and manufacturing methods thereof are also disclosed.

The method includes: adjusting frequency of an input microwave, each of different input microwaves with different frequencies being input microwave of the single-input multi-output waveguide microwave system; assigning the input microwave to a target output port among multiple output ports of the single-input multiple-output waveguide microwave system, according to the frequency of the input microwave; and performing microwave output through the target output port.

The structure includes a cavity and a cover plate, wherein the cavity is internally provided with a cube-like dielectric resonance block and a dielectric support frame; the cube-like dielectric resonance block and the dielectric support frame form a triple-mode dielectric resonance rod; air is arranged between the triple-mode dielectric resonance rod and an inner wall of the cavity; one end or any end of the cube-like dielectric resonance block is connected with the dielectric support frame respectively; the dielectric support frame is connected with an inner wall of the cavity; and the cube-like dielectric resonance block forms triple-mode resonance in directions of X, Y and Z-axes of the cavity.
