ANTENNA FEEDING NETWORK
An antenna feeding network for a multi-radiator antenna, the antenna feeding network comprising at least two coaxial lines. Each coaxial line comprises a central inner conductor and an elongated outer conductor surrounding the central inner conductor. At least a first inner conductor and a second inner conductor of the at least two coaxial lines are indirectly interconnected.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MITIGATING INTERFERENCE IN A WAVEGUIDE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, receiving, by a waveguide system, a communication signal that conveys data; transmitting, via a coupler of the waveguide system, electromagnetic waves, where the electromagnetic waves propagate along a transmission medium without requiring an electrical return path, and where the electromagnetic waves convey the data; and mitigating, by the waveguide system, interference to the electromagnetic waves associated with residual electromagnetic waves propagating along the transmission medium. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Method and apparatus for arranging communication sessions in a communication system
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a system for determining a usage pattern, and sending instructions to a plurality of waveguide systems to transmit or receive electromagnetic waves along a surface of each of a plurality of wires according to the usage pattern. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Broadband directional couplers for TEM and quasi-TEM mode guides and lines
A directional coupler operable at microwave and RF frequencies. Embodiments of directional coupler includes a main transmission line supporting transverse electromagnetic (TEM) or quasi-TEM wave mode propagation. A coupled transmission line supports TEM or quasi-TEM wave mode propagation. The coupled transmission line is adjacent to and oriented at an angle with respect to the main transmission line. A coupling hole is formed through conductive shielding between the main and coupled lines, the coupling hole formed at an intersection region between the main and coupled lines. The angle is nominally 60 degrees for optimal directivity and isolation.
Feeding Device
A feeding device is disclosed. The feeding device includes a body and at least one first port, the body includes at least one first contour port, and each of the at least one first contour port corresponds to one of the at least one first port; and the first contour port includes at least two sub-ports, and the at least two sub-ports of the first contour port are connected, by using at least one power splitter, to the first port corresponding to the first contour port. In the foregoing implementation solution, the first contour port is divided into several sub-ports, and the first port and the several sub-ports are connected by using the at least one power splitter.
Coaxial connector with ingress reduction shielding
A coaxial connector with an F female end shield is configured to restrict RF ingress.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS FOR COAXIAL TRANSMISSION LINES INCLUDING TAPER AND ELECTRICALLY THIN RESISTIVE LAYER
An electrical connector configured to electrically couple a signal transmission line to another signal transmission line is disclosed. The electrical connector comprises: a first electrical conductor disposed around a center axis, the first electrical conductor having a taper along its length, wherein the first electrical conductor is substantially azimuthally symmetric around the center axis; a second electrical conductor disposed around the center axis, the second electrical conductor having the taper along its length, the second electrical conductor being substantially azimuthally symmetric around the center axis; a dielectric region comprising a gas, and disposed between the first electrical conductor and the second electrical conductor, the dielectric region having the taper along its length; and a dielectric element disposed in the dielectric region between the first and second electrical conductors, the dielectric element being substantially azimuthally symmetric around the center axis.
Coupling for connecting at least one amplifier unit with at least one antenna, system and method for transmitting a signal between an antenna and an amplifier unit or an analyzing unit
A coupling for interconnecting at least one amplifier unit with at least one antenna is described, wherein the coupling has a first interface that is standardized according to Electronic Industries Alliance with regard to the imperial system and a second interface that is standardized according to 13-30 DIN. Further, a system and a method for transmitting a signal between an antenna and an amplifier unit or an analyzing unit are described.
