The present disclosure relates to a dielectric coupling sleeve configured to capacitively couple a first electrical conductor to a second electrical conductor. The dielectric coupling sleeve includes a first sleeve section and a second sleeve section. The first sleeve section has a first diameter. A receiving space is closed on one side and formed in the first sleeve section. The receiving section is configured to receive an insertion of the first electrical conductor. The second sleeve section has a second diameter. The second diameter is smaller than the first diameter. The second sleeve section is configured for insertion into the conductor cavity of the second electrical conductor.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR LAUNCHING GUIDED WAVES VIA CIRCUITS

The technology described herein is directed towards microwave attenuators, and more particularly to a cryogenic microwave attenuator device for quantum technologies. In some embodiments, a device can comprise a cryogenic microwave attenuator device. The cryogenic microwave attenuator device can comprise: a housing component and a microwave attenuator chip, wherein the housing component can have thermal conductivity of about at least 0.1 Watts per meter-Kelvin at 1 degree Kelvin. The cryogenic microwave attenuator device can also comprise a microwave connector comprising a signal conductor that is direct wire coupled to the microwave attenuator chip.

A cable and a high-frequency device are provided to reduce passive intermodulation interference. The cable includes a strip line and a coaxial line. The strip line includes (in an outer-to-inner sequence) a strip-line outer conductor, a strip-line signal cavity, and a strip-line inner conductor. The coaxial line includes (in an outer to inner sequence) a coaxial-line outer conductor, a first insulation medium, and a coaxial-line inner conductor. The cable further includes a coupling ground plane provided with a coupling aperture portion. The coaxial line is disposed in the coupling aperture portion, the coaxial-line outer conductor is coupled to the coupling ground plane, the strip-line outer conductor is connected to the coupling ground plane, and the strip-line inner conductor is connected to the coaxial-line inner conductor.

The feeding network comprises at least one substantially air filled coaxial line, each comprising a central inner conductor, an elongated outer conductor surrounding the central inner conductor and an elongated rail element slidably movably arranged inside the outer conductor. The rail element is longitudinally movable in relation to at least the outer conductor.

Antenna arrangement using indirect interconnection
An antenna arrangement comprising an antenna feeding network, an electrically conductive reflector and at least one radiating element arranged on said reflector is provided. The antenna feeding network comprises at least one substantially air filled coaxial line, each coaxial line comprising a central inner conductor and an elongated outer conductor at least partly surrounding the central inner conductor, wherein at least one radiating element and at least one coaxial line are configured to interconnect indirectly.

DIELECTRIC COUPLING SYSTEM WITH MODE CONTROL AND METHODS FOR USE THEREWITH
In accordance with one or more embodiments, a coupling system includes a plurality of dielectric couplers configured to generate, responsive to first electromagnetic waves received via a hollow waveguide, second electromagnetic waves along a surface of a transmission medium, wherein the plurality of dielectric couplers each have an end at differing azimuthal orientations relative to the transmission medium and wherein the second electromagnetic waves propagate along the surface of the transmission medium without requiring an electrical return path. A controller is configured to control a generation of the first electromagnetic waves in accordance with a first set of phases, wherein the second electromagnetic waves generated by the plurality of dielectric couplers combine on the surface of the transmission medium to propagate via a first selected wave mode.
