Antenna assembly for a vehicle
An antenna assembly includes a base, a modem, a top lid and a housing. The base is composed of an aluminum material. The modem is disposed on the base. The top lid is for the base, and the top lid includes at least one antenna element disposed on an exterior surface. The housing covers the top lid and base. The top lid acts as an electro-magnetic barrier for the modem. A communication cable is connected to the modem at one end and extending to and connected to a vehicle internal router with a vehicle modem at the other end.
ANTENNA MOUNTING SYSTEM
An antenna mounting system that includes abase member, a plurality of spaced retaining attachment section and retaining members is provided. The base member has a central passage that is configured to receive an antenna shaft. The plurality of spaced retaining attachment sections are coupled to the base member. A retaining member is coupled to each retaining attachment section. Each retaining member has an engagement portion that is configured to engage an upper surface of a ceiling and a biasing portion that is configured to provide a bias force on the engagement portion to engage the upper surface of the ceiling.
Flat roof mounting device
A mounting device for covering a roof penetration in a roof includes a base having a hub, an outer perimeter structure, an open top, an open bottom, and ribs extending from the hub outward to the outer perimeter structure. An internal reservoir in communication with the open top and the open bottom. At least one of the ribs is formed with a bore for receiving a fastener for fastening the mounting device at the roof penetration.
Antenna device and antenna apparatus
Provided is an antenna device includes a base connector fixed to a support substrate, a module connector connected to the base connector to the base connector, and an antenna module fixed to the module connector and configured to transmit or receive a radio wave. The base connector includes a base-side casing, a base-side fitting portion, and multiple base-side terminals. The module connector includes a module-side casing, a module-side fitting portion, and a multiple module-side terminals. The antenna module includes an antenna substrate and an antenna element provided on a front surface of the antenna substrate. In a state in which the base connector is fixed to the support substrate and the module connector is connected to the base connector, the antenna module is fixed to the module-side casing such that the front surface of the antenna substrate faces up diagonally to the outside of the module connector.
One-hand mounting system for fixing an antenna module on a vehicle
A one-hand mounting system for fixing an antenna module to a vehicle. The mounting system includes a slidable lever, which is configured to perform a translational movement, and a rotatable locking device, which is engaged with the slidable lever to transform the translational movement of the slidable lever to a rotational movement of the rotatable locking device, thereby fixing or releasing the antenna module to or from the vehicle.
Flat Roof Mounting Device
A roof-mounting device for covering a roof penetration in a roof includes a base having an open top, an open bottom, and an outer perimeter structure. An internal reservoir of the device is in communication with the open top and the open bottom, and a mount plate is disposed in the internal reservoir extending between opposed ends of the outer perimeter structure. A bore is formed in the mount plate below the top of the base, the bore for receiving a fastener for fastening the mounting device at the roof penetration. When the bore receives the fastener therein, the internal reservoir is unsevered, remaining in communication with the open top and open bottom of the base.
ANTENNA MOUNT FOR A STRUCTURE
A pass-through antenna mount for a structure includes a base to be placed against an external wall of the structure and a shaft that extends from the base through an opening in the wall. The base defines an aperture therethrough. The shaft extends away from the base and defines a hollow channel extending along a length thereof. The channel is generally aligned with the aperture in the base. The shaft includes a neck portion and an adjacent body portion. The neck portion is configured to accept a fastener and the body portion defines a cable opening in a wall thereof. The cable opening fluidly communicates with the hollow channel. The antenna mount accepts an antenna mounted to the base, where the antenna cable(s) passes through the shaft and exits through the cable opening of the shaft's body portion, thereby taking a tortuous path through the antenna mount.
Antenna mount
An antenna adapter which can be mounted to the roof of a vehicle equipped with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) roof-mounted “shark fin” antenna comprises a spacer having a generally oblong body that is at least as large as the footprint of the OEM antenna with a mounting surface that extends beyond the footprint of the OEM antenna. The mounting surface is adapted to receive an antenna base while the underside of the adapter includes an oblong recess for routing an antenna cable from the antenna base to the interior of the vehicle. The adapter is mounted to the vehicle roof using a threaded fastener that is longer than the OEM fastener. The adapter is sandwiched between the OEM antenna and the vehicle roof to provide a leakproof seal.
Snowmobile Storage Compartment, Display, Antenna, And Body Trim System
A snowmobile including a chassis, a main body panel, and a first trim panel. The main body panel is removably coupled to the chassis by way of a fastener assembly. The first trim panel is removably coupled to the main body panel. The first trim panel has a first thickness and extends a first distance from a side of the snowmobile.
FASTENING SYSTEM FOR A MODULAR ANTENNA
A fastening configuration for a roof antenna. A plug connection is located between the roof antenna and a control device in the center of the fastening configuration, and mechanical connection components are located around the plug connection.
