Antenna mount

A mount for an antenna includes: first and second generally C-shaped arms, each with upper and lower free ends; equipment face mounting brackets mounted on the first and second arms; and lower and upper plates mounted to a post. The upper free ends of the first and second arms are pivotally mounted to the upper plate, and the lower free ends of the first and second arms are pivotally mounted to the lower plate, such that the first and second arms are movable between retracted and extended positions. The first and second arms are fixed in the extended position relative to the upper and lower plate via fasteners inserted through holes in the upper and lower free ends of the arms and in the upper plate, the pivotal mounts and the holes defining a desired angle between the first and second arms in the extended position.

A multi-beam antenna including a reflector having a single reflector surface defining a first focal region and a second focal region. A first feed group located within the first focal region includes a first feed oriented relative to the reflector to define a first beam pointed in a first direction. The multi-beam antenna further includes a fixed attachment mechanism attaching the first feed group to the reflector such that a position of the first feed group is fixed relative to the reflector. The multi-beam antenna further includes a second feed group located within the second focal region that includes a second feed oriented relative to the reflector to define a second beam pointed in a second direction. The multi-beam antenna further includes an adjustable attachment mechanism attaching the second feed group to the reflector, whereby a difference between the first direction and the second direction is adjustable.

TRANSVERSELY CLAMPABLE LINEAR ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM

In certain embodiments, a linear adjustment mechanism includes an adjustment plate, an adjustment nut, and a holding plate. The adjustment plate has an exterior-threaded section that engages with the adjustment nut, a mounting-bolt opening, and a clamping-bolt slot. The holding plate has a horizontal section having a clamping-bolt opening, a vertical section connected to the horizontal section, and an adjustment-nut opening. With (i) the adjustment nut engaged with the adjustment-nut opening and the exterior-threaded section of the adjustment plate and (ii) the clamping bolt inserted within (a) the clamping-bolt slot of the adjustment plate and (b) the clamping-bolt opening of the holding plate, (1) rotation of the adjustment nut on the exterior-threaded section of the adjustment adjusts the linear position of the adjustment plate relative to the holding plate and (2) rotation of the clamping bolt secures the linear position of the adjustment plate relative to the holding plate.

A cell pole that is easily manufactured, provides good structural qualities, permits near continuous vertical positioning of supported antennas while shrouding/concealing the supported antennas. The pole includes a central torsion box and a plurality of outwardly extending flanges. The pole provides significant structural rigidity based on the concepts of an I-beam. The pole may be produced in an extrusion molding process significantly reduces manufacturing costs.

PASSIVE-INTERMODULATION-MITIGATING MOUNTING ASSEMBLY

A passive-intermodulation-mitigating mounting assembly for a fixture, such as can be affixed to a utility or communications monopole can include a first bracket and a second bracket respectively defining a first through hole and a second through hole. In some examples, a mounting plate supports an antenna or a radio. A fastener can extend through the first through hole and the second through hole, for instance to couple the first bracket with the second bracket to attach the mounting assembly to a fixture. The passive-intermodulation-mitigating mounting assembly can include a bushing that can be inserted into a through hole, and the bushing can physically and electrically isolate the fastener from one or more of the brackets. The isolation of the bushing helps inhibit the passive-intermodulation of the mounting assembly when the fastener extends, via the first bushing, through at least one of the through holes.
