The present disclosure relates to base station antennas. One example base station antenna includes at least two antennas, at least two outer cover structures, a fastening assembly, a connection assembly, and an upper cover, and each antenna is independently packaged in a radome. The fastening assembly includes a pole and a base. A bottom of the pole is mounted on the base. The connection assembly includes an antenna connection assembly, an outer cover connection assembly, and a pole connection assembly. The pole connection assembly is disposed on the pole, a top of the antenna is connected to the pole by using the antenna connection assembly and the pole connection assembly, and a bottom of the antenna is fastened on the bottom of the pole. Each of the outer cover structures is connected to the pole by using the outer cover connection assembly and the pole connection assembly.

The antenna system and the method receive signals having radio frequencies in a plurality of radio frequency bands. The antenna system includes a support assembly, a primary reflector that is coupled to the support assembly, a feed assembly that is movably coupled to the support assembly, and a first feed and a second feed fixedly coupled to the feed assembly. The first feed and the second feed are configured to communicate RF signals in a first frequency band and a second frequency band, respectively, of the plurality of frequency bands. The antenna system also includes a first actuator that is configured to move the feed assembly from a first feed assembly position, where the first feed is positioned along a first signal path with the primary reflector, to a second feed assembly position, where the second feed is positioned along a second signal path with the primary reflector.

The present invention relates to a clamping apparatus for an antenna and, particularly, to a clamping apparatus for an antenna, comprising: an arm unit which is coupled to a support pole vertically provided in the up-and-down direction and extends in the horizontal direction with respect to the support pole; a clamping unit having one end provided with an antenna device and the other end coupled to the distal end of the arm unit, wherein the clamping unit is provided to be rotatable leftward and rightward or to be tiltable upward and downward, so as to rotate the antenna device; and a rotation-auxiliary mounting unit coupled onto the support pole corresponding to the lower part of the arm unit, wherein when a rotation angle of the arm unit is changed, the rotation-auxiliary mounting unit rotatably supports the arm unit in the rotation direction of the arm unit while supporting the weights of the arm unit and the antenna device. Therefore, the clamping apparatus enables easy installation of the antenna device by an individual installer and easy direction adjustment thereof.

A universal mounting apparatus suitable for use with a cellular communication system is disclosed here. The mounting apparatus can be used to mount a transceiver radio unit to an antenna structure. The mounting apparatus includes a first mounting plate compatible with the antenna structure, a second mounting plate couplable to the first mounting plate and slidably adjustable relative to the first mounting plate. Openings in the second mounting plate are arranged in a pattern compatible with different possible mounting fastener locations for transceiver radio units. At least one adjustment fastener couples the mounting plates together. When the at least one adjustment fastener is loosened, position of the second mounting plate is adjustable relative to the first mounting plate. When the at least one adjustment fastener is tightened, position of the second mounting plate is locked relative to the first mounting plate.

The connection of the hinge device with the base station antenna arrangement is located in a middle region of a longitudinal extension of the base station antenna arrangement [having a longitudinal extension] of a maximum of ⅓ of the longitudinal extension of the base station antenna arrangement. A connection of the adjustment arm with the base station antenna arrangement is located in one of two end regions of the base station antenna arrangement. The adjustment arm has a plurality of connection positions for the corresponding clamp, which are configured to define a plurality of different mechanical tilt angles of the base station antenna arrangement about the hinge device. The antenna mounting device realizes easy adjustment of the mechanical tilt angle and good resistance against external disturbance loads.

A structure containing an antenna with an orientation which can be changed when one part of a two-part structure is turned relative to the other on a rotating shaft includes first and second structures as the two parts. The second structure is rotatably connected to the first structure through the rotating shaft, and the second structure comprises an antenna plate. When the second structure is rotated relative to the first structure, the rotated antenna plate allows a wider range of wavelength frequencies within the rotation range of the second structure.

Tilt bracket for antenna structure

A tilt bracket comprising a first bracket part and a second bracket part is pivotable between a fully open position, a fully folded position, and intermediate positions. The tilt bracket further comprises a blocking mechanism which allows the first bracket part and the second bracket part to always pivot towards the fully folded position, and which either prevents or allows the first bracket part and the second bracket part to pivot towards the fully open position.

When the ribs dispose in the collapsed configuration, the antenna can be disposable in the stowed configuration; and when the antenna disposes in the deployed configuration, (i) the ribs can dispose in the extended configuration, and (ii) the reflector can be directionally adjustable, such as in both elevation and azimuth.
