The present disclosure pertains to an antenna assembly configured to inconspicuously provide mobile communication in rugged or tactical environments. Some embodiments may include: a flexible conductor configured to receive and/or emit electromagnetic radiation; a printed circuit board (PCB) configured to match characteristic impedances; and a connector configured to mate with another connector associated with a radio or amplifier, the PCB being potentially disposed within an interior portion of the connector of the antenna assembly.

ANTENNA SYSTEM FOR CIRCULARLY POLARIZED SIGNALS
20210249786 · 2021-08-12 ·

In one embodiment, a first antenna element has a substantially vertical axis. An array of second antenna elements is configured to radiate or receive an aggregate radially polarized electromagnetic signal component. The array defines a substantially horizontal plane that is generally orthogonal to the substantially vertical axis of the first antenna element. The aggregate radially polarized electromagnetic signal is derived from radially polarized electromagnetic signal components associated with corresponding ones of the second antenna elements. The aggregate radially polarized electromagnetic signal is derived from radially polarized electromagnetic signal components associated with corresponding ones of the second antenna elements.

Provided are examples of removable circularly polarized antenna fitment and methods of fabrication. In one aspect, a fitment comprises a plurality of conductive elements spaced radially around a central point contained with a housing. The elements may have an included angle of between 8 and 71 degrees from horizontal. The plurality of conducting elements may be straight, bent, or curved and may be comprised of between 3 and 12 conductors. The fitment may contain a housing which is removable from a linear antenna.

ANTENNA DEVICE
20210296790 · 2021-09-23 ·

An antenna device includes an antenna base having a longitudinal direction, a first antenna element on the antenna base, and a pair of second antenna elements on the antenna base, the pair of second antenna elements being capable of transmitting and receiving radio waves in a higher frequency band than the first antenna element. In a planar view, when the antenna base is divided into four regions by a first line segment along the longitudinal direction and a second line segment orthogonal to the first line segment intersecting each other at the center point of the first antenna element, a region where one of the pair of second antenna elements is located is not adjacent to a region where the other of the pair of second antenna elements is located.

LOW-PROFILE VERTICALLY-POLARIZED OMNI ANTENNA
20210280988 · 2021-09-09 ·

An omni-directional antenna including a plurality of stacked omni-directional antenna core assemblies. Each antenna core assembly comprises a conductive ground plane defining an axis normal to the ground plane and a plurality of conductive plates projecting orthogonally from the conductive ground plane and angularly spaced about the axis. Each of the plates defines an edge extending radially outboard from the central axis and diverging away from the conductive ground plane as the radial distance increases from the central axis. The edge defines a first region defining an acute angle relative to the conductive ground plane and a second region, radially outboard of the first region defining an arcuate shape.
